Salem Application
Salem is the official application of the Ministry of Health in the State of Kuwait. It aims to enable citizens and residents to securely and quickly access their health services and medical records, with the ability to easily manage family members’ health profiles.
1. Health Information Access
Users can view the following:
• Personal and family health records
• Upcoming and past appointments
• Laboratory test results
• Radiology reports
• Approved medical reports
• Chronic disease history
• Allergy information
• Diabetes data
• Vaccination history
• Prescriptions by date and healthcare facility or hospital
• Previous medical leaves
• Submitted requests and their statuses
2. Service Requests and Applications
Users can submit the following requests through the app:
• New medical leave request
• Pre-marital screening request
• Complaint submission
• Suggestion submission
• Medical device request
• Medical committee request
• Home medical visit request
• Appointment booking with a visiting doctor
• Early breast cancer screening request
• Request for pest and rodent control services
• Medication price inquiry
• Medical Council services
Login Requirement
The app requires login using Kuwait Mobile ID .

Ratings and reviews

Can't book an appointment. I enter my civil ID number and the serial number but the name neither shows up nor you can type it, rendering the whole process useless as you can't continue in order to make an appointment. And booking an appointment requires the use of another app (Kuwait Mobile ID) which also doesn't work. Absolutely bad decision.

Have to make sure that the your phone's date and time are on automatic setting to avoid issues. Had a problem, viewing and downloading medical reports, til I set the date and time on automatic setting, restarted the phone and viola, the app is fine and running smoothly. Hope this helps!

As usual in most governmental apps no proper testing and quality assurance done . I uninstalled the older version, then downloaded the new one , whenever I try to open the app i get a popup saying " a newer version available . Proceed or cancel".. so i choose proceed ,it redirects me to the store to choose" uninstall or open " if selecte "open" i go into loop of " newer version available ". Also i noticed that no one is getting back to the reviews and answering to the comments
