With neon you have your account on your smartphone. Always at your fingertips. Transferring money has never been easier. You always have an overview of your income and expenses. And with the neon Mastercard®, you can pay worldwide and online without fees and exchange rate surcharges.

ATTENTION: To use neon, you must have your primary residential address and tax liability in Switzerland and be at least 15 years old. You also need either a Swiss passport/ID or a B or C residence permit.

You can choose from 3 accounts:
• neon free: the everyday account with zero base fees
• neon green: the sustainable account with easy CO2 compensation
• neon metal: the unique account with exclusive insurance packages

Are you ready for neon? Your part of the account opening in less than 10 minutes simply via smartphone, completely paperless. Download the app, enter your personal info and have your ID ready for the identification (photo-ID/video call). Afterwards, we need 2-3 working days to check and activate your account. Then you are ready to go. You will receive your card by snail mail within 7 working days.

Once you’ve opened your account, you will directly benefit from various neon features. Everyday account functions such as domestic and international transfers are waiting for you, you can upload and scan your QR bills, divide your money with our Spaces, invest in the most traded Swiss and international shares as well as ETFs, set up eBills and much more. All this at the best conditions – without hidden fees. And we’re always adding new features.

It's obvious, but we'll point it out anyway: your money is safe. You decide how you want to log in: with a personal login code, fingerprint or Face ID. Only you can authorize payments from your activated device, with a separate transaction PIN. And because your account is held at Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, it's protected by Swiss deposit insurance up to 100’000 CHF. Just like any other Swiss bank. Your data remains in Switzerland.

The app design is user friendly. But, there's no option to deactivate contactless payments. Secondly, Payment notification keeps deactivating itself on the same device. I have to generate activation code before uninstalling app, reinstalling and reactivating it. This has happened 5 times in the last year or so, and still happening. Requested support to escalate to their technical team a few months ago. But have not received feedback. Only email Support for free accounts since last year.

Thanks for your feedback! We've acknowledged your need to be able to deactivate contactless and have added it to our feature request list! To understand better, why would you need to de-install the app so frequently? Is it when you change the device?
