With neon you have your account on your smartphone. Always at your fingertips. Transferring money has never been easier. You always have an overview of your income and expenses. And with the neon Mastercard®, you can pay worldwide and online without fees and exchange rate surcharges.

ATTENTION: To use neon, you must have your primary residential address and tax liability in Switzerland and be at least 16 years old. You also need either a Swiss passport/ID or a B or C residence permit.

You can choose from 3 accounts:
• neon free: the everyday account with zero base fees
• neon green: the sustainable account with easy CO2 compensation
• neon metal: the unique account with exclusive insurance packages

Are you ready for neon? Your part of the account opening in less than 10 minutes simply via smartphone, completely paperless. Download the app, enter your personal info and have your ID ready for the identification (photo-ID/video call). Afterwards, we need 2-3 working days to check and activate your account. Then you are ready to go. You will receive your card by snail mail within 7 working days.

Once you’ve opened your account, you will directly benefit from various neon features. Everyday account functions such as domestic and international transfers are waiting for you, you can upload and scan your QR bills, divide your money with our Spaces, invest in the most traded Swiss and international shares as well as ETFs, set up eBills and much more. All this at the best conditions – without hidden fees. And we’re always adding new features.

It's obvious, but we'll point it out anyway: your money is safe. You decide how you want to log in: with a personal login code, fingerprint or Face ID. Only you can authorize payments from your activated device, with a separate transaction PIN. And because your account is held at Hypothekarbank Lenzburg, it's protected by Swiss deposit insurance up to 100’000 CHF. Just like any other Swiss bank. Your data remains in Switzerland.

Good app but customer support is incredibly slow and they seem to have no idea what is going on. I asked for my monthly card limit to be increased while I was on holiday, it's still not done and it's been five days! Very inconvenient! Update: they got it done eventually+2 star

The service and UI of Neon are OK. But the loging is so crazy slow and unreliable that I hate using this app. This whole review has been written while waiting for the app to login, and its still not done. Edit: Going down to 1 Star since the app is not reachable again and some of my "Future Payments" have an execution date in the past and were not executed. This is a toy, not an alternative to a bank.

Hi there! We had a short background reboot from 15:29-15:34 (so just around the time you wrote the review) and the second 16.11-16.21. While these were short time frames, we do regret that it impacted your experience. Please do let us know if you are still experiencing this, so we can have detailed look in to the case.

I opened the appl as usual. It said I needed to update the application. I pressed update then it is blocked forever. I uninstalled it and tried to install it again. It stayed blocked. I installed the appl in my other phone. The installation is ok but I need an activation code from the other phone which is not possible as it is blocked. I needed to order one by the post and for a few days I cannot use the appl. Why can't I receive the activation code by email.
