Nice fresh UI for an already excellent photo App. Very intuitive, easy to use with an impressive array of photo tools. With superb undo, redo or re-adjust-ability of all layers/edits (pre & post export/save.) Only one issue, which the update hasn't cured on my version. When you goto crop, as soon as you take finger off the adjust frame the app disappears (into to background running apps) leaving you back at my phone's homescreen.
Come on Google. With new interface you slowed down my workflow so much. White background is a killer. I understand that you wanted to make an app more appealing to total newbies, but there is zillion apps that already do that with filters. Most of us use Snapseed because of its advanced features. Please rethink the design.
One of the best app ever seen for EDITING 1. Don't alter the picture quality 2. Include a lot of professional editing tools 3. Easy to use when learned once 4. Professional editors advice 5. Depth effect can be seen in lens blurr 6. Blending of different filters 7. Provide changing intensity of each filter 8.amazing pose edits 9. Etc. Etc. JUST AMAZING DOWNLOAD IT USE IT LEARN IT AND DO PROFESSIONAL EDITING
What an eyesore. The older version of the app had a much more intuitive and much less cluttered design. I also cannot believe that the background is light gray/off white without any option to change it. The darker color of the old app was definitely better. There's a reason most professional photo editing software have dark interfaces.
One of the most powerful photo processing app turned into a non intuitive amateur filter app after the new UI update, no actual functional major updates or tweaks, who takes away dark theme and switches it for a light theme(you should have at least kept option to switch), plus the non intuitive style menu for the most functional part of the app(TOOLS), you had to ruin a good app, this shows how much a good UI/UX team matters. Please fix these issues.
Going to give the new interface a chance, but already not liking that I can't change the background color back to that wonderful dark gray. If I had any suggestions about this interface as it is, I would like the ability to move the icons around. Having my most used tools (white balance, details, curves, etc.) within reach of my thumb would be amazing. Also, I would totally pay for the ability to be able to insert another object into a picture. I understand that Double Exposure sort of does this in a clunky way, but I'd love a detected feature for this. App is still amazing, just... weird now.
