About this app

This free application is used for Metro by T-Mobile customers to make changes to their account at their fingertips. Check your balance and due date, review your 4G data usage, make payments, change plans or features, and even reset your voicemail password. Just another way to take care of the simple things without making a call or standing in line.

If you're having trouble with an upgrade or crashing/freezing issues, select the MyMetro app in your phone settings and clear all app storage. Try to re-download the app from the Play Store, or just re-launch if there is not an update option. You must accept all requested permissions, turn off wifi, and upgrade to the latest version of MyMetro; otherwise the app may not work properly. Dial 888-8Metro8 and request a representative if you continue to experience issues after following these steps.

I've never had an issue with paying my bill or topping off my data with a $5 payment but as of a few days ago all of a sudden I can no longer do such a thing, getting an error that "You've already exceeded the daily payment limit, try again in 24 hours" (or something along those lines). Please fix this error because this issue has lasted for days without being able to make a simple $5 payment for more data

The app itself is becoming more of a hassle with each update in the last 6 months or so, even giving issues paying my bill, updating my payment options, etc, etc, and is now even putting a popup add on the screen every time I open the phone. I can't even 911 without having to first close a damn pop-up ad. The issues with Metro all began when T-Mobile officially took control of the provider.

I've had MetroPCS for years and the service has not been an issue. My issue is that the app never works. I keep getting an error message that I need to verify I have the latest version of the app (I do), to power cycle my phone (which doesn't work), and to make sure I'm connected to the network with 3G or 4G (I am). Having an app that allows you to manage your account and pay your bill is only convenient when IT WORKS ON A CONSISTENT BASIS! Fix the app!

In the latest version of myMetro we added functionality to make your account more secure. We also addressed an issue in the Switch Phone flow; you’ll be able to switch your metro device using this functionality.
