I love chime. No crazy fees, lots of convenient features. My only gripe is with the new MyPay feature. Having the ability to advance some of your pay from the next week is very helpful, however it goes into, essentially, a cooldown period every friday where the total amount available shrinks and then slowly unlocks again over the next four days, even if you didn't use it. This makes it pretty inaccessible in the event that you're a little tight and need to pay something on a Friday.

I love chime, their direct deposit, add cash options are fantastic. I also have gained access to Mypay,which is an advance option, super helpful. they also have spotme a fee free overdraft that allows up to $20 to use when you run out of money. this is a very helpful app, I think I will be a full-time customer. the only thing I dislike is that I can't reopen a credit builder card, which I would also use full time. and they have to add zelle as an option to send payments.

It's a easy to use and simple app with multiple features - virtual cards, daily balance notifications, option to lock cards, FEE FREE overdraft if you use direct deposit, transfer monet, pay al bill and even a map with a choice of ATMs that you can withdraw from for free and side hustle opportunities. BUT I don't like the new layout. the option to lock your card used to be along the bottom but it's now located in settings. I don't like clicking on too many things to use one feature.

What's new

What do we want? Bug fixes and performance upgrades! When do we want them? Weekly! We heard the chanting mob (that 100% definitely exists) and we’re delivering the goods. Because at Chime, there are no down days—only updates. Get it? Update, like when you update your—never mind. Update your app to get the latest bug fixes and performance enhancements. I’ll go back to the writer’s room and come up with better jokes next week that may or may not include a reference to the Tesla robot.
