*Chime SpotMe is an optional, no fee service that requires a single deposit of $200 or more in qualifying direct deposits to the Chime Checking Account each month. All qualifying members will be allowed to overdraw their account up to $20 on debit card purchases and cash withdrawals initially, but may be later eligible for a higher limit of up to $200 or more based on member's Chime Account history, direct deposit frequency and amount, spending activity and other risk-based factors. Your limit will be displayed to you within the Chime mobile app. You will receive notice of any changes to your limit. Your limit may change at any time, at Chime's discretion. Although there are no overdraft fees, there may be out-of-network or third party fees associated with ATM transactions. SpotMe won't cover non-debit card transactions, including ACH transfers, Pay Anyone transfers, or Chime Checkbook transactions. See Terms and Conditions.

^Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to 2 days earlier than the scheduled payment date.

This app is Great, this app has helped me in a lot of ways. From building credit to transferring money made easy; to any account in minutes. This app covers charges if you're over a couple dollars without fees. Grant it is only 20 dollars. One of the things I don't like is if you won't more money to be spotted you need to send notifications to other chime. That's fine, but if you're the only one with an account in your family or friend group, this doesn't help. Also, if you get 10 in gas the can

Its online but it's everything a regular bank offers and more! Add cash yes, have a savings yes, build credit yes😁, prepaid credit card option available. The cheesy commercials about getting your life back on track with Chime are tru. I went from a 300 credit score and now I can almost buy a house 600. After a year. 6 months into having the account I was able to get a car loan which I couldn't before . I was able to get a regular credit card. Chime gave me my credit back, the fastest way ever!

Edit: Went from 5 stars down to 3 stars after the last design update. Absolutely hate the new app design. I love Chime. I get paid 2 days early and I love the automatic saving features. Their customer service is great. I love the spot me feature. It comes in handy when you need it. They will ask you for a tip, but it's optional and I've never had a spot me decrease because I didn't leave a tip. I've been with Chime a long time and it's the best banking experience I've ever had.
