Tired of telemarketing calls? The app helps you with this :-)
A large registry with a list of numbers related to telemarketing is now included in the app. If you are contacted by a number that is verified as a sales/market research number, a popup will inform you.

With more than 1,500,000 downloads of the app (iPhone & Android) you can now download the brand new version of 180. The app has been adapted to all Android phones (including Android 8+).

Privacy / explanation of permissions on the phone:

Phone conversations
Used solely to capture the incoming and outgoing phone number and for performing a lookup in 180

Your location
Used to lookup services and businesses nearby (show nearest) as well as the "Take me there" function if you want a navigation map to your entry. In some cases your position is also used to display relevant ads based on your position.

Your messages
Exclusively used for lookups of sender's phone number.

Your personal information
Read and write to your contact list is used for displaying the contact's name in the "See who is calling the feature" and to store an entry in the contact list (if the user actively wants to save/update a contact).

Network communications
Used to check Web-services communication, for lookups on unfamiliar numbers, and forlooking up businesses and people in the app.

Services that cost money
You can a choose to call an entry from the application. No conversations take place without your consent.

System Tools
Used to display information with the "See who is calling" feature.

Ratings and reviews

Bad design integration with Android, takes up all the space on the screen at every call, even the regular callers from my registered contacts, making it very hard to pick up a call, because the reply button is hidden behind the 180 app overlay window. The summary screen after each call is also redundant. I used it for a whole year now, but the UX is too bad to justify the utility of the app itself at shielding from scam calls, will delete it.

Mixed experience. Multiple times through the years that it hasn't worked for long period of time, and Ive used this for several years on multiple phones. From May 2023 and onwards they want to charge for the service, which I understand - but I don't see the stability, quality or innovation to motivate that cost for me personally - i barely get calls nowadays anyway. Not worth 39kr/month to me. Would be ok with 39kr/year, not 39kr/month. Oh well.

App was good enough when it was free. Now in the new update its a payed subscribtion, NOK39 a month, no way. I guess you got lots of numbers reported so you have a free database that users have made for you, so now you want to charge the sane users that built your database. Wow, thats a $%#k move. The app is not that good, so i will uninstall it right away.
