Well, the app works good for the most part, but since about 6 months ago or so, the option to manage household is given me an error when I try to use it to tweak some settings for the profiles I have setup. It says there is an outage in my area and it can't connect to my network...but all the other parts of the app do work and can connect to my network. I called optimum and they have no idea what to do. I tried restarting my router and made sure the app is up to date.

This app is a waste, the website as well, optimum may be cheaper but you can do so much more with the Verizon App and website, you don't even need to use the website because the app has everything! I have to call optimum if I need to do something and we all know optimum doesn't have anyone from the states working, they are all overseas and dont understand our frustration because they don't use the service.

Pointless waste of space. The images on the product page clearly show WIFI MANAGEMENT, but that's a lie. Another review that complained about no wifi management was told yeah, the app doesn't have that just go to the website. WHICH DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF HAVING AN APP. And the website doesn't even have a link for it. It only talks about smart wifi. You have to Google it to find the router page, and it won't even connect to anything. FAQ on the website also says to use the app.
