Used the app when we first lost our dog. We were contacted by several people who had seen him in the area and found him shortly after. A few weeks after 2 strange dogs were running around our street. Opened the app and lucky for them their owner had posted about them the day before. I called them and they are now home safe because of the app. Great app! We check the app regularly when ever we see an animal lose when we're out.
Do like the concept . has helped many find their pet. Dislike the "near me" feature, be more useful if was more near me, many are no way close by. Also the emails I get when a pet is lost, found etc takes you to all the listings and no way to Know What pet it is. There are some better local apps.
This app could really use some work and then it could be wonderful. Coaching the owners of lost animal on better, more accurate descriptions is absolutely necessary and missing from this app. Long hair? Short hair? Primary color? Distinguishing marks? Crooked tail? Limping? Just shaved? I color? Microchipped? Spayed or neutered? Loves people? Scared of everything? Wearing a collar? What kind? ID tags? I don't know that I've ever seen more than one picture per posting of a lost animal either. That's just ridiculous. And the website? Don't get me started. The cookies don't work at all. It does not remember your personalized settings. It takes seven or eight clicks, navigating and sorting just to get to a search function. For such a noble idea, more work needs to be done and this could truly be a fantastic app.
I do like this app but since I've gotten my new phone the app will download to my phone but will not allow me to enter it. It crashes immedently
It was MUCH EASIER to find your lost pet when you only had to deal with 2 websites. Craigslists' Lost & Found and the local shelter websites. It was very efficient and successful! The more apps and websites dedicated to finding lost pets will only cause confusion and pets to get lost in the sea of apps. I realize they mean well but all these apps will do more harm than good. 😿
Please add a place to show the name of the Subdivision where the pet went missing. Allow for a mileage perimeter. Had to lower my rating because I can't tell what neighborhood the pet was list in so it makes it hard to tell from a zip code.
