My husband and I both have troubles with the app just stopping play randomly. Often have to force stop the app to get playback again. Avoidable by downloaded podcasts before listening to them, but that's annoying. I do like the interface though.

More bugs than any app I've ever seen. Constantly stopping, playing incorrect things, not letting me skip forward or backward, not pausing, playing over other audio based apps. Only saving grace is a wide selection of podcasts to choose from.

It has a great selection of podcasts; however, you have to download the podcast episodes to prevent it from randomly cutting out. Inversely, you have to have internet access to get to your downloaded episodes to show up. Seems counter-productive to me.

The only feature I miss from the apps I switched from is the ability to pause when I remove headphones and begin playback again when I reconnect. Another feature I see as slightly lacking is seeing archived pay to listen podcasts in the app. (such as old hardcore history by Dan Carlin)

This app has all my favorite podcasts and works great and I love it except... While listening to a podcast, it randomly just stops playing. I have to go into settings and force stop the app and relaunch to get it working again. Sometimes even that doesn't work. So far, there are no fixes or stated reasons for this issue. This needs to be resolved asap. Borderline unusable at times. Fix this huge problem and it's a five star app.

I liked the layout and navigation. I really wanted to like this app. UNFORTUNATELY THE APP WOULD FREEZE EVERY 10 TO 20 MINUTES ON MY MOBILE PHONE. I HAD TO UNINSTALL IT.

Playback stops at random points, and I have to shut down the app and restart it to get it to play again. Just happened several times during one podcast. Also, the playlist feature is clunky and I only use it for creating a queue. I think they should just can that feature and make a queue feature instead. Overall, the UI is good but just a few bugs make it really annoying to use.

The app does what it says it does, and it does it well. What prompted me to give a 5 star review was the customer service. I had an issue, used the in-app feedback option, and received assistance via email almost immediately. Not only was it quick, it was actually helpful and solved my problem.
Please allow opal export. And please fix your search. Cast box and podcastaddicts has more and much better results for our searches
Love it! Although every once in a while it will just freeze. I love having all my podcasts in the same place though!

Hi Beth, Would you pls go into the device settings (Settings/Battery/Battery Optimization) and move the Podbean app to the "Not Optimized” list to see if the issue still occurs? Thanks. The damn podcasts always stop in the middle and u constantly have to go through this superstitious thing to get them start back up.
Getting notifications from podcasts I'm not subscribed to, can I turn this off as I'd rather not have to mute all notifications from the app? Update: Thanks.

Hi Sean, Please tap the person icon in the app then find Settings--->Notifications, Then you can turn off notifications there. Thanks. I just updated the app and lost access to podcasts that have stopped uploading episodes. It just says no more episodes -___-
I like this. One star deducted for the podcasts stopping randomly issue.
It's the only player I've used, but that's because it's good! No problems encountered, good recommendations, can pretty much find what I want. Very happy.
The selection of podcasts is fine, just need to find a way to turn off the "crash after 30 minutes" option.
I would've gave this app five stars if i could just search for episodes inside the podcast channel.
Works well, easy to use, you can listen offline. The search bar needs some work you have to be specific with capitals an that.
Single most used app on my phone, and I mean more than texting or talking on the dang thing.
I've found all the podcasts I wish to listen to, and it is very easy to subscribe and manage each.
It's gud if it contain description list Except that everything is gud
Works great for keeping me up to date on all my favorite podcasts.
