Weekly ad to Digital Coupons Smartphone users: I do not use the shopping list as it was too sensitive to touch in order to add/remove items and check items off. LOVE getting the weekly ad. It itemizes by category. Nice feature! Same with Digital Coupons. Only downfall for DC for me is a system glitch where the list constantly repeats itself in certain products and I am not able to see all items available. .. therefore I just use my home computer ahead of time and it's fine. LOVE also the online ordering feature!!!
I used this app for a long time at a bunch of Publixes where I used to live. I moved three months ago, and all of a sudden, I can't open up the app in any of the Publixes in my new town. I can make the list just fine at home, but when I step inside my new local Publixes, my phone signal is dropped and I can't access my list. I've tested it -- it works just fine in the parking lot, but when I walk inside the store, the signal drops and no more access to the app. It is enormously frustrating to spend all that time making the grocery list and then having total list fail when I walk into the store. I'm going back to pen and paper.
Meh Never saves my store, always have to reenter it. Kind of slow and wonky. Also navigating is a nightmare, the back button rarely works and sometimes just brings up the menu.
This *used to be* a good app. I had been going to Kroger for a while instead and hadn't used it a while; started going back to Publix so I fired it up and got a bunch of updates. It's now so slow at adding items that it's not worth using and I just use google keep instead. Adding items from the weekly ad is fine but adding items by typing them in is slow enough that today is the last time I'll use it. The Kroger app, conversely, has gotten *better - and now our Kroger is now doing the gas points (you listening Publix?)
Crashes and limited The app has a really nice ui BUT it crashes on use. It "still" does not pull from the Publix database of items in a store. Using digital coupons is convoluted and over thought. Forget the clipping, if I click on a coupon just bring up the code or scan code. Thats it. I dont want to jump through hoops to get the coupons, then to only jump through more hoops to use them! Takes way to much time.
Shopping list email now useless. The latest(?) update screwed up the email you get when you email the shopping list. Every time I try to email the shopping list the email no longer includes the comments, as well as including items that have already been picked up. Earlier versions of the app didn't have these problems.
