I love Qdoba and I loved the rewards program, they are on the right track with the new program and if you look, there are multiple ways of earning points outside of just purchasing. That said the 100 points have to be turned on is a little... yeah for people that don't do it they might feel screwed. I also don't think points were given for down time as I would have earn more points with my purchase the the points given. That being said if they just reduced the amount needed for an entree (let's be honest that's what 80%+ of us want) I would give it 10/10 easily. Also we need an area for coupons like the ones on the receipt.
Used to choose Qdoba over Chipotle because of the old reward system (buy 10 entrees get 1 free). But now I have no reason to go to Qdoba. Quality is much better at Chipotle. The new rewards program at Qdoba is not as rewarding (you have to buy more in order to get a free entree). Don't forget to change the settings so that you are enabled to get your points also! Wonder why it is defaulted to OFF. Don't know anyone who would not want to receive rewards for their purchases. Oh, except Qdoba would love it if you don't get your rewards.
RUINED A GREAT REWARDS PROGRAM! You used to get a free entree for every 10 purchases - it was simple and easy to track. Now, even at the maximum tier, I have to spend $150 to get a free entree. The ONLY reason I go to Qdoba and not Chipotle is because of the rewards program. Once I hit enough points to get my next reward, I think I'm switching to Chipotle. Add this to the change Qdoba made a few years ago where they stopped charging for extras, but raised prices (thus requiring everyone to pay for extras) and I feel like it's just once more kick in the head to the customer.
Honestly, I was a little skeptical about the new rewards program, but it's not that bad. You also have the option to switch it to the old program. The only problem I have is the monthly surprises. It says monthly, but nothing has shown up for the month of January. Also my email notifications were turned off (not by me) so if there was a surprise, I wouldn't have known. Overall, I think the app is great and I've been waiting for it. Btw, the QR code for your card is in your"wallet". Pretty easy place to find it, right?
Disappointed in the new rewards system I was a huge fan of the previous system (10 burritos get one free). With this new system it will take at least 3 times as long to get a free burrito. Because of this Chipotle burritos are going to be cheaper and I will be eating there now instead. This is too bad because I really enjoyed Qdoba. If the rewards go back to the way they were I'll come back.
Terrible Assuming the primary reason customers would download this app is to get reward points. I downloaded it in line getting ready to checkout and once installed clicked all over trying to find a Barcode or anything to use at POS. Meanwhile I was bombarded with hint screens. I finally just gave up. Cleary it was designed on what the developer wanted and not the customer.
