The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.

- Storage : To upload a drawing to PENUP or download a drawing from PENUP (Android 9 or lower)
- Notifications : To notify about activities related to your drawing, followers, and people you're following (Android 13 or above)

If your system software version is lower than Android 6.0, please update the software to configure App permissions.
Previously allowed permissions can be reset on Apps menu in device settings after software update.

Ratings and reviews

They say they moved the smudge brush and can't find it! Its shows in the already made pages but not in the ones you do. Its frustrating. It should be in both. So idk. Getting some of the lines right with adjusting them is difficult! Some of them don't actually work and go small. The pen lags like crazy and doesn't even go in the right spot or even work in some spots. You can't get the coloring page you put in to even be the right size. If you do it to the biggest, it doesn't even get all of it.

I really love this app. But one thing I don't like, is that in the live coloring section, once you colour over something, you can't see what the other people are drawing in the video unless you erase your drawing completely. Its very annoying. If you could add a feature to swap the layers, to make the tutorial video sit on top of your drawing so you can see your guidelines, that would be great. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of having any guidelines at all.

The app is amazing, above all it's user-friendly with all the drawing options being displayed on the screen and therefore just 1 click away. Nonetheless, developer team, please, do something about the loss of quality of drafts, it's a huge inconvenience! After reopening the draft, parts of the drawing are smudged and very low-quality. I would like to continue using this app, but if the artwork gets always all blurry, I will have to search for an alternative, though it's hard to find.
