i really hope SM Cinema app would have an E-Wallet payment options like: gcash, maya, maribank since it's the payment method that people commonly used nowadays and it's much more convenient with an easy transaction process, unlike using credit cards cuz it requires a lot more time. This is just a suggestion, other than that the app is fine.

Their online booking is very frustrating for a company this big. I recently just tried online booking in IMAX premium and upon checkout it showed some error and it turns out my order did not go through but i already got deducted. I called their cs and said i should wait for a callback regarding my transaction and will reserved me a seat. No callback happened so i decided to go 2 hours before my booking and it turns out all the seat in premium are sold out. Had to resched. So much hassle.

Honestly useless. For the 4th time in a row, the booking was not successful but I was charged so I had to go line up to the counter to explain what happened and get the physical ticket. Bear in mind that you pay for an additional "convenience fee" when buying a ticket in this app. I'm not upset at the fee if only the booking is successful. Charging your users the convenience fee when they are actually inconvenienced by your buggy app as they had to line up anyway. You should be ashamed.
