Advanced car audio setting is an app which controls Sony’s Car receiver via Bluetooth.
Embedded in the Sony | Music Center app as a plug-in.

SongPal has been renewed to Sony | Music Center. Devices that were compatible with SongPal are compatible with Sony | Music Center as well.

Sony AX5500 connected with Android s9+ and then s23+ gave me terrible stability problems until I found this app. The USB C to HDMI would give me so much trouble running video to head unit. After installing app it all works perfectly! The shop who installed head unit were great with follow up visits but could not solve the stability issues. Head tech and owners thought the problems I was having were caused by me not using an iPhone as everyone with shop were all on apple devices.

Needs improvements and a dark theme option. It is way too bright and the controls are too small. It could also auto-dim when untouched for 30 seconds to cut down on glare.

This app works perfectly on my note 9 I don't have to go thru the car radio sound settings for adjustments, it's much easier doing that on your phone, plus it have some others cool features that your head unit don't have to boost or enhance sounds. 🙂
