I hate meditating alone. With this app I am never alone. There are groups to join for multiple interests. My favorites are the humor groups. There are thousands of free guided meditations or a timed self designed meditation. I can't express how much this has helped me.
Great app with fantastic choice of guided meditations, talks and timers to fit all moods and situations. It's easy to use and I especially like the record of progress and community. I use it every day now. It's a real shame meditations can't be downloaded for offline use when there is no internet. The longer meditations, those over about 30 mins (and sometimes shorter), nearly always cut off before the end which is a shame and very frustrating. It would be useful if users could set up playlists. One meditation could be played after another without disturbing the peace and relaxation of the practice. I would be happy to pay for extra functionality described above.
After many years using this app on several phones, I'm still a fan. My main wish is to have an optional dark mode, preferably with a pure black background for AMOLED screens in order to reduce power load and battery drain.
The new version forces the user to login before being able to use the app. This seems a little ironic in a meditation app. In the past I would always choose the standalone option in the settings. I would imagine that bringing this option to the first launch screen with the ability to change it in settings shouldn't be such a major undertaking. I understand that certain features are dependent on having an account but I think freedom to choose could be considered.
Has a wonderful set of chimes and ambient sounds, and can be customized to suit your routine and be used anywhere. The only thing that would make it better is Google Fit integration!
I like how the app is built, all is clear and catagolized so it's easy to find what exercise you want to do. It'd be nice if i could share specific set with my friends
