About this app

Delhi Metro Rail app provides the customers of metro services with lot of useful information that helps in using the Metro Services. Following are the different sections in the app and the information available in them.

Plan Your Journey- Selecting the starting and destination stations will display the route map based on Shortest Route or Min. Interchange. Simply SWIPE UP on the route map screen to see the Fare, Platform, Approximate Travel time, Stations in between along with change over station.

Station Info – Selecting a station will give you various useful information about the station like First and Last train timings, Platforms, Gates and directions, contact numbers, Tourist spots near that station, parking, feeder services etc.

Nearest metro station – This section will show you the nearest metro stations from your current GPS location. Please note the distance is the straight line distance between Lat/Lon.

Other sections i.e. Tour guide, Metro Museum, Lost and found and Other info will give various other useful information to the user.

payment is worst, virtual card recharge is not working. worthless application just use the physical card itself It took me around an hour to just try to recharge the virtual card over and over and over again. but it didn't even send me the OTP to complete the transaction. this is the crappiest application I've ever found and it has cost me more than an hour

20% off is not available every time, for example, if the fare is 43, sometimes 38 is deducted and sometimes 40 is deducted and there is no flexibility in the top-up option also. If the virtual card balance is high, then more is deducted instead of giving 20% off of the 20% off.

Hi All, Never use this app as a primary app to either use a virtual smart card or QR ticket. Always have a physical smart metro card as this app is pretty useless when the network goes down. The metro officials on the station are clueless during rush hours... the app will not allow you to check-in if you have a low balance. In my case INR 25, while the same app will allow you to buy a QR ticket to the next station at INR 11. Peak hypocrisy!!
