About this app

Delhi Metro Rail app provides the customers of metro services with lot of useful information that helps in using the Metro Services. Following are the different sections in the app and the information available in them.

Plan Your Journey- Selecting the starting and destination stations will display the route map based on Shortest Route or Min. Interchange. Simply SWIPE UP on the route map screen to see the Fare, Platform, Approximate Travel time, Stations in between along with change over station.

Station Info – Selecting a station will give you various useful information about the station like First and Last train timings, Platforms, Gates and directions, contact numbers, Tourist spots near that station, parking, feeder services etc.

Nearest metro station – This section will show you the nearest metro stations from your current GPS location. Please note the distance is the straight line distance between Lat/Lon.

Other sections i.e. Tour guide, Metro Museum, Lost and found and Other info will give various other useful information to the user.

Poor experience. Too many ads. No ability to download booked tickets you're stuck if network connection is slow or non existent in underground stations. Even taking screenshot is disabled. Asks for location data for booking and accessing tickets for no apparent reason. Can't rebook tickets for common destinations. Have to re input the stations every time. It could have been made a lot better. The only saving grace is that you don't have to stand in a queue to recharge your card or buy a ticket.

one of the idiotic app.. they never say that you can't share the ticket until you find out after you booked the ticket. my 10 year old child and my wife was traveling and asked me to book the ticket for them. after booking they are saying that the ticket can be used by the device it booked frm and is saying it's for security. the same booking features are there in paytm, phone pe etc there you can share the PDF of the Ticket. the irony is that out of 100 only 5 are using the app. am also uninst

I’m having a very poor experience with the metro ticket smart card support. Although I still have ₹36 balance, the app continuously shows a “low balance – please top up” message. Ideally, this low balance warning should only be triggered when the balance is less than ₹11, but in my case, it is appearing even when sufficient balance is available.
