About this app

Delhi Metro Rail app provides the customers of metro services with lot of useful information that helps in using the Metro Services. Following are the different sections in the app and the information available in them.

Plan Your Journey- Selecting the starting and destination stations will display the route map based on Shortest Route or Min. Interchange. Simply SWIPE UP on the route map screen to see the Fare, Platform, Approximate Travel time, Stations in between along with change over station.

Station Info – Selecting a station will give you various useful information about the station like First and Last train timings, Platforms, Gates and directions, contact numbers, Tourist spots near that station, parking, feeder services etc.

Nearest metro station – This section will show you the nearest metro stations from your current GPS location. Please note the distance is the straight line distance between Lat/Lon.

Other sections i.e. Tour guide, Metro Museum, Lost and found and Other info will give various other useful information to the user.

Ratings and reviews

An amount of ₹96 was deducted unnecessarily from my card without any valid reason. Additionally, even after having a balance of ₹50 on the card, the entry gate did not open when I tried to use it. I contacted the helpdesk regarding this problem, but they informed me that they have no control over this issue, which is very disappointing and unhelpful. I would like to strongly warn others not to add any money to the virtual card. The service is extremely poor and unreliable.

This app is mainly used by everyone to use virtual card but the app takes so long to open and even after that you've to click on "Virtual Smart Card", and then after that on "Show QR" code. All this takes a long time. If we're in a queue and it's our turn to enter or exit, people behind us keep on waiting for us to go through. Please fix the opening time and also add the QR card directly on the first screen of the app. Or at least, add a custom widget to directly open the QR.

Fake app Yes , because many people will download it after listening to annoucements that virtual smart card will give them 20% discount on metro rides. Its NOT TRUE . THEY WONT GIVE YOU 20% DISCOUNT . Also if your balance goes less than even 50 , they'll ask you to add more money and you cant use the amount remaining ( less than 50 ).
