Not a big fan of the mandatory permissions. My company uses this for report writing, nothing else. The fact the app just doesn't work at all without access to my location is pretty terrible design. I get that it's necessary for some features, but if those features aren't being used, then you don't need those permissions. Same with audio/video and all the other permissions. All I need to be able to do is daily activity logs and reports. Camera access is fine if I need to use it.

Having "GPS Scan" record checkpoints when scanned and/or all checkpoints in a tour be active. Manually opening a tour is fine, but having to then manually select checkpoints forces you to divert focus from whatever you are doing (driving) to playing on your phone. Also, allow checkpoints to scan with the display turned off (battery saver). It'd be nice to have the ability to save report drafts. Right now if you need to do anything in-app during a report, you are forced to delete everything.

For what it does, Tracktik gives you the tools you need on shift. It crashed on me often in the middle of reports at random. It is a guard app: It will suck your phone battery and your data speed dry if you don't keep a careful eye on it. You have to give it all your permissions to work, so make sure you're ready for that if you need this for a job. It does keep your report images on your phone- which really eats up a lot of storage. It works but is it worth the invasion of privacy? Up to you.
