Genesis Intelligent Assistant allows you to access features on your Genesis vehicle remotely from anywhere. Start your vehicle, lock or unlock your doors and more.
With the Genesis Intelligent Assistant App you can:
• Remotely start your vehicle
• Search and send Points of Interest to your vehicle
• Remotely unlock or lock the door
• Check if your doors are locked or unlocked
• Remotely activate the horn and lights
• Find your car
• Access your saved POIs
• Make a service appointment
• Access Genesis Connected Services
• Access maintenance information and Monthly Vehicle Health Report
• Receive calculated departure messages for synced calendar events with location
• Receive proactive notifications to remotely start and cool or heat your vehicle based on current temperature
• Access widgets for Remote Features, Parking, POI search & Send to Car, and more
 
Genesis app also supports Wear OS features. Use voice command or Smartwatch menu to access select features.

• Remotely start your vehicle

• Set parking meter reminders

I personally ONLY want a digital display of speed on the dash. That can be elusive on this vehicle since you can't always see the heads up on sunny days. When using Android Auto, you lose the normal digital speed from the built-in GPS. So there's nothing but analog. Also, this vehicle needs a truly resetable trip odometer. I travel for business and what you provide is a brief glimpse every time you stop the car. That is not sufficient! I always make more than 1 stop.

I'm not sure if an update screwed this app up but in the past week or so it's been faulty. It does not respond to any remote commands (lock, unlock or start), the vehicle stats are incorrect on the app. my vehicle location has been stating that it's in a location where I haven't been in the last week and the has mileage hasn't changed. I have cleared cache and uninstalled, then reinstalled multiple times to no avail. I was great when it actually worked.

I am new to the app and it sounds like massive improvements have been made. However, there are a few things make this app a bit frustrating to use. For starters, there doesn't seem to be a remember me fuction for android. You can select remember me inside the app, but I still need to check the terms of use on every login. It's VERY annoying. I have reinstalled the app multiple tines, turned on biometric login and it still wants me to click the terms of service.
