Have the free app for cycling and is great. I don't need all the features of the premium service. If you want monitor heartrate and power cadence etc then maybe the free is not going to be any good. I just like the way it records all your rides and you can keep a total of mileage. The segments are great for checking your times on hills against your PB'S and others.
Waste of bloody time. Moved over to Strava today from Runtastic. Wish I hadn't. Just did an awesome run thinking I'd smash out a big distance day one of Strava. GPS located and I started the activity. Bloody Strava stopped about 1 minute into run. Never ever had a problem with Runtastic. Don't waste your time on this app. You want something to record your activities then I suggest looking elsewhere. 19/01/2018 Gave it another shot & same issue. GPS locks and everything fine.... Get back from run and not recorded. Go Runtastic guys. No dramas in all the years I've used it.
Great app. A lot of people are complaining it stops. I don't use the app to record as I use a Tom Tom watch. Works great. Premium is not worth the money especially if you paying US $
Using Galaxy S7 connected to Garmin Vivoactive. For over 2 weeks now every time I open the app I get "Data sync failed" and a blank screen on my feed. FAQ says "Failed to fetch attachments" and ironically the Support button does nothing at all. Most other features (Notifications, Segment Explorer, etc.) show "Server not responding, please try again later." Basically the app is useless to me now. I went to the Strava website and it appears that my data is there. So the site is pulling things in, but the app on my phone is dead to me. Tried clearing cache, then uninstalled and reinstalled. No dice.
Record activity always stops halfway my route, which makes it useless without any external gps device..otherwise great app:(
Doesn't capture my rides at all after latest appalling update. Why wasn't this update tested properly before release? 21 Jan update still broken.
This version includes minor bug fixes.
