There are some features I think they should trickle down from premium (subscription) to either single payment to unlock or even down to free. Beacon I think is a good subscription service, for example to keep paying for. I don't think they should hold back data it records from you though. If you're using a Garmin device or similar you're just going to look at power or whatever in their app and spend less time in Strava or dump it. But, I like the social aspect of Strava enough to stay.
Sadly disappointed. My ride there was correct, but ride back showed a diagonal path straight back to my original destination... so incorrect as this path does not even exist and meant I had crossed terrain uncrossable ie. river, trainline, housing etc Whats more I can't upload the photos and show efforts to anyone!?!? I'm Uninstalling...
... One small flaw. When I share my Strava activity and view it in a browser, it doesnt show the total time - only total distance, splits/average calories and GPS map. Basically everything else apart from total time! Can this please be corrected in a future update?
Great app for what I am using it for. It is synced with Garmin Connect as I don't use Strava to record my runs. But it is a nicer app to use than Garmin as it is uncluttered and allows you to compare regular running routes. Also the stared segments are a great motivational tool to push you harder if you are feeling competitive.
I love that it connects to pebble but until a function is added to correct bad GPS route data then it will never be better than average. Quick update...strava is crashing mid activity with such frequency that I may have to try an alternative. Another update. Strava is now crashing on virtually every activity. Terrible.
Strava is a great bike focused app. The running has matured quite a bit over time. The swimming is still a bit weak. The other activities I've used like working out with weights are somewhat useless. I'd love Strava to be a hub for all of my triathlon training but it isn't there yet.
