Worked great until latest update now the app will not run on my Sony swr50 SmartWatch. It simply says that strava stopped working as soon as I try to start the app. Rebooting, and resetting the watch to reinstall have not fixed it
have upgraded phone to android nougat. have updated Strava to latest. now it appears to not pickup GPS. shows as straight lines on maps for cycling and runs. please fix/advise urgently
Great app however I strongly dislike recent changes. At the very least please have an option to display the feed chronologically. I also really dislike the new blog posts. This isn't Facebook, Strava was always great because it was focused!
It stopped working on my ZenFone 2 after the update. When I tried to open it it will show Strava screen, and then shut down by itself. But it works ok on my Zenwatch 3. ZenFone runs on Abdroid 5.0 and Zenwatch on Android Mobile 2.0.
Please can you implement a search feature for previous activities, even if it's just the ability to filter by date. Loads of users are asking for this, it can't be that hard to do and it is so frustrating having to scroll for ages through all your previous activities to find a certain one. I have a Huawei P8 and no matter how many of the settings and power saving options i adjust, the app always crashes and stops recording after about an hour to an hour and a half. Very frustrating as I have to reset whilst cycling and if i don't notice for a while, then it straight lines part of my route. Apparently it's a known issue with these phones that Strava don't seem to be able to address.
Group kudos dissappeared and now Strava is turning into Facecrap. On top of it, the feed is not in chronological order. I will continue to use it in order to track my workouts. But I will no longer follow anyone so I don't have to see irrelevant posts. Oh and keeping my money in my pocket. Done with Strava Premium.
- Workouts improvements: we are once again showing splits on all runs and increasing information density.
- Posts: we are launching non-activity posts, which enable athletes and clubs to post feed content.
- New feed: new feed layout making it easier to post, discover, and connect.
