I love it. . So far in a month I've lost 7 lbs and kept it off. I credit this to that little device that keep me on track lol I have fitbit alta HR so don't really know how GPS is working ? As this one don't have it. Everything works like supposed. Now I can see how is my sleep pattern , intake of calories and output awesome app.

Great potential if the fix things that go unfixed. Barcode camera focus doesn't work regardless of what you do. Rather than letting you pick common foods to save it picks them for you and seemingly randomly. The GPS hardly works right. If you change the layout of your dashboard, it changes itself back to default the next day for some reason. If all those things were made more user friendly, it would be great.

Overall certain good features on my Fitbit Charge2 compared to other similarly priced products. Sleep tracker and BPM is very good. App is not good. Hangs very often. Today its totally blank. Not sure what to do. Changing my rating from 3 to 2 as the app is not working and is blank. Restarted the mobile multiple times but no luck. Giving 2 as for 20 days it gave me good sleep inputs and haapy with the BPM while work outs.

I think the app is great. It really needs a true week challenge though i.e. Monday to Sunday and a monthly challenge. Adding frequent new adventures would make it more fun too, I'm sure you can do more than Yosemite and new York marathon. Syncing issues occur from time to time but nothing a reboot or holding the power button for 20 seconds when plugged into the wall won't fix.

My own fault. After doing research and buying a fitbit surge I was dissapointed to discover that the app is pretty limited in terms of friends activity. I assumed I would have been able to click a friend's profile and see a detailed analysis of their activities. I thought that would be a pretty standard feature and completely overlooked it. A shame really but oh well what can you do. Do hope its something to consider in future. Im sure its probably discussed internally at fitbit on a daily basis.

App keeps crashing since new update. Have followed all the reset instructions. Still will get a white screen after a few hours use. Also not optimised for oppo R9s, hurry up!! Notifications turn off in-app when Oppo's optimisation app runs, and when when new Bluetooth devices connect. Just get it sorted, the Oppo is a popular brand of phone.

Hi Brenton - We appreciate sharing your feedback. Though your phone meets our requirements, we can't guarantee that you'll never experience an issue for we haven't tested this model yet. Should you need further assistance, get in touch with us at https://contact.fitbit.com. ~ Fitbit Support This app has major syncing issues even though the Bluetooth is on and the devices are right by one another. I've followed all online suggestions to ensure nothing is off, or wrong so all I can put it down to now is that either my phone is useless, or this app is useless. The app syncs once a day if I'm lucky. Too bad, I'd heard such good things. Buying a fitbit is pointless if it can't sync.
Fitbit, Inc. June 4, 2017
Hi NIcola- Let's work on this. To troubleshoot the syncing issue, we suggest that you try these tips: http://fitbit.link/2b1IiaH. If the issue persists, reach us at contact.fitbit.com and we'll be glad to take a closer look. ~Fitbit Support Charge HR - PROs Hourly Activity, step count, sleep tracker and silent alarm. CONs DURABILITY! Constantly glueing parts back on. This my replacement and it is falling apart just like the 1st one did. Battery only last 3 days at best. Needs to last 5-7 days or have an easier charging method. App is buggy/freezes. Charge cord is too short and proprietary. Will definitely not purchase another one. Will not recommend.
Just got the Blaze so far everything is going expected. I have one issue. I work nights and when setting my activity times will not except a 10pm to 7am. Why is that if somebody can explain? Other than that it is easy to use and I am really enjoying scanning the barcodes of food I eat or protein shakes I make so I can add to my food intake.
To sync or not to sync is the question with this app. I got my watch on Saturday set it up and this app work Saturday and Sunday. Monday I worked all day kept checking and it kept saying unable to sync. Finally Tuesday afternoon my watch synced and gave me my info. It is now Thursday and it has not synced since Tuesday afternoon period I got this app so I could check my sleep pattern and unable to do that. I think I might as well trash this app and just take the writing on paper what my steps and everything else is. If I do this I could have kept my cheaper watch and done the same thing. I love my Fitbit but hate this app.

Hi Kurt - Let's work on this. Please ensure that you're using a supported device (fitbit.com/devices) to have all the features fully functional. These syncing tips may help: http://fitbit.link/2b1IiaH. Need further assistance? Reach out to us at contact.fitbit.com. We'll be happy to take a closer look on this. ~Fitbit Support My blaze cannot find my phone (Galaxy S7 Edge) when I exercise. I will hold it right next to it and I may get one bar if I'm lucky. Most of the time it say it cannot connect to phone. It syncs just fine, but not for location. This started after the Marshmellow update.
Fitbit, Inc. June 2, 2017
Hi Brandon - Let us help. A weak GPS signal on your Galaxy S7 Edge is often caused by environmental factors such as tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, or even thick cloud cover. For tips on how to resolve the issue, please check out: http://fitbit.link/2qH6ENP. Still need help? We can be reached at contact.fitbit.com. ~Fitbit Support Well, there must have been an update because it's not synching. AGAIN--fourth update. Unbelievable. Still no changes or improvements. No wonder sales have declined. Mobile Track still doesn't work on Nexus 5 and the size small was made even bigger. Was told by customer support it was a "marketing decision." Guess they want to cater to fashion sizes: The size 12 is now labeled a size 6--just great.😒
The tracker itself is great. But the app is pure garbage. In the 3 months I've been using the app, it went from great to barely useable. I can barely sync any activity, not all of my steps are being synced, and the app has poor communication with the tracker. Fitbit needs to fix these issues, because I love my tracker, but their app is an embarrassment.
Enable location or you have a dead app. It holds the app hostage unless you enable location. My pixel XL has terrible battery life so I turn off some functions, like location since that eats a ton of juice.
Fitbit, Inc. June 1, 2017
Hi Nigel - We appreciate the feedback. As of the Marshmallow release, Google has changed the permissions required for Bluetooth syncing. A location must be turned on as of the Android 6.0 update in order to sync. For details, see http://fitbit.link/2hTzom6. Still need help? Feel free to let us know at contact.fitbit.com. ~Fitbit Support I am beside myself with this app. It is so bad. It hardly syncs. I can't log in for days/weeks at a time. If I switch devices (even when all day sync is off) it erases everything and goes back to zero. I've been on with customer service repeatedly. Getting the app to work is a part-time job. I am so disappointed that I spent so much money on devices that I can't really use.
This app doesn't work. It won't sync my fit bit anymore and sometimes won't even load a screen (just comes up with a white page) Fitbit.... What have you done. Wouldn't have purchased a fitbit if I new I wouldn't be able to use the app. Wouldn't recommend.
Moving more now than I ever have before... That review was almost a year ago... Now it is June 2017 and trying to keep up with the app and it's glitches has become a part time job... I have to uninstall and reinstall approximately every 2 months and hope that I don't have anymore issues. Getting to the point where I am going to give up on the app and start a paper journal.... Will I buy another fitbit product? I honestly don't know... Most likely not.
I've had this app and the fitbit blaze for about a year now and never really had a problem, but after the newest update I got an error message about the clock face I was using on my watch, "clock error go to the fitbit mobile app and try another clock" so I'll change it and not even an hour later I get the same error message about the new clock face. I'd love to rate this app higher because up until about a week ago I loved my watch and the app but I can't really even use the watch anymore. Please fix.
Love the app BUT can it give it a 5 because of a little detail: the weight graphs by time period should update their Yaxis to match the data currently on the screen, rather than match all the data available through scrolling. What happens when you have lost significant weight is that graphs get flattened therefore meaningless. If you guys could do that change that would be amazing and no doubt 5 stars worth.
I got my Alta as a gift 6 months ago and its already done working. I've tried anything I could to try and get it to sync back up but all I'm left with is a watch now because the time is the only operational function I can use. Disappointed.

Hi Mariah - Let us help! If you've already tried these syncing troubleshoots: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866, and still not working, please reach us at contact.fitbit.com. We'll be glad to take a closer look. ~Fitbit Support Causes my phone to freeze all the time and kills my battery life. The sleep tracking for fitbit and it's graph display are horrible in comparison to my old jawbone. Somewhat wish I decided to stick with that brand, but liked the idea of having some competition, which is not as great as I thought. My friends are not as active as when they first got their fitbit. Oh well.
Fitbit, Inc. June 1, 2017
Hi Chelsea - We appreciate the feedback. We suggest logging out of the Fitbit app > turning the phone off and turning back on then log back in. For battery maximizing tips: http://fitbit.link/24y1u8i. If the issue remains unresolved, please feel free to reach out to us at contact.fitbit.com. ~Fitbit Support The watch is fine but the App is rubbish. It takes forever to sync and even when it has synced everything appears to be a week out of date. I used to think the app was good but since they have moved to this stupid dashboard look it has gone terrible. I would not recommend a fitbit to anyone now. It doesn't matter if the device is great if you can't get at the stats it stores. You had better sort this out fast or mine is going in the bin.

Hello Jim - Sorry to hear. We're constantly striving to improve Fitbit products & services, & we appreciate all of the input we receive from our customers. To address the syncing issue, please try these steps: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866. For further help, reach us at contact.fitbit.com. ~ Fitbit Support The app keeps hanging after a few uses on my android and won't load.. Just a white screen. When I reinstall app it works a few times and then the same thing again. This is very annoying. Please fix the bug. It used to be fine earlier
Sync Issues. Dear Fitbit, until a couple weeks ago your app was actually really awesome. Then the sync Issues started. The app, for whatever reason, does not want to sync properly anymore. It now takes forever to sync and after it is "done" syncing ... the information didn't actually load, a resync (or 2 or 3) is required before it ACTUALLY syncs. I am not the only one with this issue, it seems, based on other reviews.
I can not get it to sync on a regular basis. It continues to go around and around until it stops with an exclamation point. It also over counts my steps to a ridiculous amount. I met my step goal by patting my dog. Ok. To address this, I use drive it app on all day long but I still can't get it it to sync regularly. Last good sync. was last night.
Fit bit is an great app and fitness tracker. Bit there are some useful items which need to be worked on to make it a fantastic app. Such as in the food databases baroda scanner, the UK food database is set up. Which would make life easier. Surprising that weight watcher baroda scanner work. Then there is still the issue of the decimal point not working when entering custom foods in to the database. Which doesn't help get an accurate account of the foods eaten.
It never wants to sync. I have reset my watch, charged it, tuned it on & off, tuned my phone on & off, & reinstalled the app numerous times. I'm beginning to think I wasted my money. Just about all the reviews say the say thing. Why can Fit bit not get this worked out?

Hi there - Thanks for trying to troubleshoot your syncing issues. We recommend trying these additional sync tips: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866. If these tips don't work, reach out to us at contact.fitbit.com. ~We'll be glad to take a closer look. ~Fitbit Support What happen to notification? When I activated the device and apps in beginning everything is great, notification from calls and message is good. Right after I upgrade it few days ago, my device is not picking up any notification from calls and message. Using htc desire 10 pro.
New app doesn't swipe from one day to the next and only updates some items like steps on top, none of the bottom half items update when viewing other dates. The old app did all of this well, so a 2 star rating until fixed!
Fitbit, Inc. June 2, 2017
Hi Phyllis - We appreciate your feedback. If you're pertaining to the New Dashboard, its design highlights the daily progress in a new daily stats tile. You can tap each tile to see more detailed info and history. As of this time, we can no longer return to the old design. Need further help? Reach out to us at contact.fitbit.com. ~Fitbit Support What in hell is wrong with this app, lately? I have an Alta & it won't or can't sync more than half of the time. Find myself un-and-re-installing to try to fix. Starting to think about a different tracker. Please fix!!
I love my Fitbit, but the app is not reliable. With every update, I must mess around trying to get it to sync. VERY annoying! 31 Oct: another update, no sync as usual. Really?20 Nov: ANOTHER update, guess what? Sync????!!!!! New year, another update, same s--t. 6 May: Bring back the old dashboard!!! June: new update, sync issues. Sigh.
Used this app for the last year was great but now that it has updated my fitbit no longer pairs with it. I have tried to uninstall and re install still nothing. This app has really sucked. If bugs not fixed will be uninstalling and trying a different tracker.
The current version doesn't remember my dashboard tile arrangements after I edit them and click done. Otherwise, I like the integrations to MyFitnessPal, Endomondo, etc... I like the challenges and the scale tracking. I don't like that I have to have GPS (a battery drain) turned on to Sync (why? this makes no sense). They removed the 5 challenge limitation, which is great!
This worked fine until the update. My Charge HR 2 was only purchased three weeks ago. I have done every single thing in the help section to sync and it will only sync if I delete my device and then set-up a new device. I cannot do this every day. Really frustrating as I need it to sync for the stepbet app. No issues before the recent app update. Update: Did try the online FAQ steps before I called the support, all of which was before I wrote this review. Call center help was no help. Down to 1 star as my less than one month old charge worked fine until the May 15 update. Not syncing makes it worthless with my other apps.

Hi - Let us assist you. Please make sure that you're using a supported device to sync your Charge 2 successfully. For other syncing tips, kindly check out this article: http://fitbit.link/27CG6xN. You can get in touch with us at contact.fitbit.com if you need more help. We'll be glad to continue assisting you. ~Fitbit Support The Bluetooth synchronisation is completely BROKEN at the moment turning the 150$ device into a fancy wristwatch. I unpaired my band from the app hoping it would help but now I can't pair it back! Very disappointed. Edit: to months later the app is still completely broken. I've tried everything, firmware updates, rebooting, clean installs, every suggestion from the forums it does not SYNC! This is the last Fitbit product me or my family purchased
Fitbit, Inc. April 21, 2017
Hi Peter - Sorry to hear you;re unable to set up your tracker back to your account. Please check out these tips to get your tracker paired to your Dashboard again: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1872. Reach out to us at contact.fitbit.com if you need additional assistance. Hope to get you back on track soon. ~ Fitbit Support Horrible The software is a POS, just like the hardware. I have two trackers and started the day with my primary one (1173 steps) and then went to the beach with my secondary one (almost 8000 steps). When I got to my room and synced, the first tracker overwrote the second and reset me back to 1173 steps and no steps at the beach, even though the keep moving graph shows me active. My 12 year old can program better logic... This may be the last Fitbit I get, based on the shoddy hardware coupled with the crappy software. Just happened a second day, even though I kept them separate and made sure my second fitbit synched before I was around my first. Are we off-shoring this app development? Seems like it...
Fitbit, Inc. June 4, 2017
Hi Frank - Sorry to hear this. We recommend getting in touch with us at contact.fitbit.com, so our team can further investigate on this. ~Fitbit Support I'm having issues with the app getting stuck on a white screen when I go to use it. I've tried stopping it and uninstalling it, which I have to do everyday to see my data. In essence, the app seems good but only when it's actually working!
Fitbit, Inc. June 4, 2017
Hi there- Thanks for trying a fix. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest restarting your phone. If the issue persists, reach us at contact.fitbit.com so we can take a closer look. We'll take it from there. ~Fitbit Support Great tracker. Bad app. Everything is so slow in the app. Anything you click takes ages to load. Even the sync status looks so ugly that when you swipe down, it freezes in an awkward position and you just want to close the app and find something better to do.
Fitbit, Inc. June 1, 2017
Hello Chaitanya - Sorry to hear this. Please try to force quit the Fitbit app and reboot your Android device. You can also uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app. For further help, reach us at contact.fitbit.com. ~ Fitbit Support The app won't let me login in. It says fitbit stopped working and kicks me off. I bought the charge 2 and can't use it what a waste of money. I've tried everything in the suggestion and the forums still don't work. After a week my app updated and it works great.
Fitbit, Inc. May 26, 2017
Hi Warren - Let us help. We suggest logging out of the Fitbit app > turning the phone off and turning back on then try logging back in. If the issue remains unresolved, please feel free to reach out to us at contact.fitbit.com. ~Fitbit Support One of my favorite parts about this app was the sleep tracking, but it appears to have just changed and I don't like it as much anymore. Other features: the goal setting options aregood, but recording progress isn't very intuitive/easy; also, my FitBit is odd about recognizing exercise.
