Notifications worked fine when I first got my device but stopped working suddenly a few days ago. I gave it a one-star rating at that point because nothing I did seem to help. But the folks at Fitbit got back to me within just a few hours with several suggestions. None of those work so they sent me some more detailed instructions and that finally got me back online. Those people are the most responsive I've ever seen in the industry. If I would give them 10 Stars I would. Thanks Fitbit for all your help
Blaze. Was stoked at first, then the novelty of it wore off rather quickly.. mainly the same boring watch faces. Suggestion: enable third party developers to make/submit watch faces. Every other Android "smart" watch manufacturer enables third party support, and the watch faces are spectacular! Seriously thinking of ditching Fitbit if this doesn't change. I'll switch over to a device that values it's customers, and listens to them by either developing new features, or enables others to do it for them.
Love using this app, but would love a fix and an update. Oftentimes when putting in a food that auto-populates with the serving amount, you have to erase it and type in the amount you want several times because it jumps back to the auto-populated number before you can press save. Also, I would love it if the app would let me know how I did on my calorie goals for a week. Some days I'm over and some days I'm under. It would be nice to see how that all balances out each week.
My ionic was working perfect until this last update. Won't sync, connect to my phones bluetooth anymore. So now i don't get any notifications, call, texts, or syncing to anything. My phone used to be compatible and is not anymore. I have uninstalled the app and ionic - now because of these issues i can't even add the device back to the app. I have had the ionic since Oct 2017 and absolutely loved it and had no problems. Now it doesn't work. Edited response: 2/17/18 - Fitbit to the rescue - i am back to loving my Ionic! I ended up having to unpair the fitbit - uninstall the app and reset the fitbit. I reinstalled the app - added the Ionic and it worked. My ionic is back to syncing and everything is working. Thank you fitbit for the awesome service!
Used to work. Now I get no tracking other than what the band tells me because the app has decided it no longer wants to sync with it. Tried everything from reinstalling and resetting and all the other fluff your told to do. Unless I want to drag my old tablet out to keep track I have to manually keep a diary of each day and I've lost the sleep tracking which was one of my major reasons for buying. Expensive waste of time.
App has always been great until yesterday - recording a run via the GPS on my phone only recorded as 5km, whereas it was 6km, which was correctly recorded on a different app that was using the same GPS on my phone. Edit 14/2 - Now my app will not let me login saying it's an invalid email or user, so I am reducing my rating further until these issues are fixed. I know the password and email are correct, as they are saved on my phone and automatically entered and haven't been changed. I have also tried entering it manually, and have no problem using the same credentials on an internet browser.
