*Subaru owners must have an active MySubaru Connected Services subscription to access remote services.

*Remote Engine Start is available on keyless access with push button start vehicles. Remote Engine Start with Climate Control is available on vehicles with keyless access with push button start and automatic climate control. Not available on vehicles with manual transmission.

*Service Scheduler function is not available for all Subaru retailers.

*24-hour roadside is included in standard 3-year warranty and after 3 years with a gold package.

My expectations weren't high, but this app is really bad, but not free. I was stupid enough to subscribe to "+" before making sure the base app worked... Then, nothing changed for better. It takes minutes to initialize the app (when it doesn't show "internal error" or another equivalent of a middle finger). It struggles to find the car in an open parking lot; flashing the lights is hit-or-miss; I can't trust the "status"... forget about real diagnostics... I'm praying for better times.

It regularly does not load unless I uninstall/reinstall it, and even that fails to work sometimes. I also take issue with the remote start, a functionality that was free with my previous car, being a PAID service through Subaru. For $100/year I'd at least want your app to work consistently. But, hey, it does work occasionally. Edit: It has actually gotten worse over the last month. Now, even if it works, it logs me out every. single. time.

app is slow to start, slow to log in, slow to start my car. slow slow slow. Update: since the update with my Subaru logo change, upon first launch I get a completely blank grey screen for seventeen seconds. SEVENTEEN!! I can't believe we pay a subscription for this trash. update: this app continues to get stuck on a splash screen for absurd amounts of time. it is not acceptable. I hope this message can prevent someone sitting at a dealer right now from signing up for this nonsense.
