Overall the app is good. The main issue I have with it, you can't see if your doors are locked or not. Yes, you can lock/unlock them. Also, if your phone is not secured to their liking you have to use username and password to sign in, can't use biometrics or PIN. The app allows you to remote start, set climate controls, view vehicle diagnostics, schedule service with Subaru, set vehicle and driver alerts and locate vehicle. Other options are available as well.

The only reason I use this app is for remote start and that feature is just as frustrating as it is useful. Settings are not reliably sent to the car - turning on the seat heater works only 50% of the time. Can't enable A/C with heat mode in presets. Most annoying is Quick Start doesn't just start the vehicle as-is without adjusting settings. Quick-Start should be just that - start quickly while retaining all settings as they were left when the car was turned off. The app needs improvements.

Overall good and useful, but: (1) Should be able to copy VIN for pasting elsewhere, not just read it; (2) as standard equipment, there should be a button on the key fob for remote starting (should not have to rely on this app); (3) too many features constantly say that the data is, "currently unavailable;" (4) a subscription this expensive ($150/year after the first year, for a $40,000 car) should include traffic reports and updates to maps, not offer to charge for them separately.
