You have to pay to use this app. If you have a minor issue, like low washer fluid, one time, months ago, every time you open the app, it's going to tell you there is an issue with your car and prompt you to schedule service. This notification will not clear when the issue is resolved, the dealership doesn't know how to clear the notification, and somehow no one on the Subaru forum on reddit had figured out how to clear the notification either. Poorly executed cash grab. Good car, bad app.

This app is frustrating. It requires biometrics to save your password. Short of that, I have to enter my full email and password every time. It will not remember my login email. It will not remember that I just logged in 15 minutes ago, sorry. Mistyped a character somewhere? Sorry, type it all over again. It takes me around one minute with deft fingers to be able to remote start my car or unlock it, which I could more easily do walking out to my car in the first place.

The app is terribly slow to open. this is especially noticeable in the winter as I'm rushing to make coffee and get out the door and I simply want to start my car. it takes ages to open and load each page and I have to pass two security checks to finally start my car. I never thought I'd say this but my money would have been better spent on the dealer installed option for remote start from a key fob.
