The new layout is nice but it took me awhile to figure out how to remove items from a sandwich. Subway is always made to order, so why does a sandwich automatically come with all of the stuff on it and it's up to me to go into some secret window (which by the way is a "+" sign that says "extras". Nothing about changes or removals. Incredibly confusing) and remove each individual item.
New app design is trying to simplify things, But it is more difficult to navigate through ordering. It was much better when it was simple and not full of needless graphics and pictures. Everyone knows what the toppings are, showing a picture of a sandwich as you assemble it doesn't make it easier or better to order from. The old app less time consuming and much more efficient to order from. It took me an additional 2.5 minutes to navigate and order from this new app design. I'm pretty tech savvy, and this is just annoying.
Since the 7.0 update this app is garbage. Runs terrible on my S7, takes forever to navigate around, the ux is the worst I have seen in my life... Oh and the local stores do not get my orders since this mess went live... Roll it back or no one will use this.
I really liked the previous version of this app. It was intuitive and easy to use. The new one? Not so much. It may have added a couple of new features (nothing huge), but the interface feels clumsy and difficult to navigate. I previously used the history for reordering my favorites. It retained my comments (which I use a lot) and the payment selection was easy. I was hoping that the new "favorites" option would build on that. Instead, I have to retype my instructions each time I order. In addition, it took a couple of orders for me to realize that the payment method was defaulted to my paypal account. (It wouldn't allow me to set my Subway card as the default.) Hence I lost points on those transactions and have to remember to reselect the Subway card with each order. I would not consider this "upgrade" a step forward... quite the opposite in fact.
Old App won't work! Update kept failing! Cannot access my account! Must fix as soon as possible! Going to lose a lot of business! New updated app will not allow me to pay for my order in store! Every time there is an update, more problems are created.
did anyone even test this update before it was released? cuz if someone tested this app and the gave it the green light should be fired.... no more order to go from this phone.... hassle isnt worth it... used to be able to select from previous order and just click re-order... 2 seconds and done.... now takes 10 minutes and can' t change location or payment method or order from past orders or save favirites.... done with this app...
