6 or 7 years ago, Swann used to be a great security system with a great app. But now it is complete garbage. Most of the time the app won't load. When it does load, it almost immediately loses the connection and freezes up. I highly recommend everyone to buy another brand. ANY other brand. Swann, if you have any recommendations, please let me know because I am ready to start a campaign against your products, and I guarantee that I will hit your bottom line.

edit - after recent update unable to sign in using biometrics or password. Reset password, and get some rinky dink riff-raff, still no use of the app. When you have used something for years and no longer can, it's useless. Have used Swann for over a dozen years. These are a must have. Replaced all of my old 1080 w 4K. We love them and they sure come in handy. Entire property is covered, see who is coming, going and everything else that goes on, day and night.

Edit: This system couldn't get any worse...complete garbage. Not impressed with the overall functionality of the entire security system. It records endless video of shadows moving and branches in the wind but misses every important instance of movement. Missed most delivery vehicles and an entire herd of deer passing through my yard. The app is glitchy, slow, and refuses to even play back sometimes. I wouldn't buy the system again and wish I could get a refund so I could buy a different system.
