UPDATE: The update to the update just shows a blank screen, going back a previous version which you can download from Synology website: I have opened a ticket with Synology. Excellent app now rendered useless. Unable to use app after update with minor fixes now have one big flaw, you can NOT use it at all now. When trying to open a video stream, you get the error "Sorry, this video cannot be played". This update deserves 0 stars.
This update is not working. Can't You go back to the older version and make it simple? Can you at least do something. This app is really useless.
How about at least a short "we are aware of the problem and working on resolving it asap" your problem doesn't stop with this app, the client experience you're letting slide means that we, the users, are going to think twice about recommend a Synology product. Maybe think too about how users are impacted on what is categorised as a security app and the importance of the entire suite working. Still not working after latest update ment to fix the issues
Last 2 updates have broken the live video playing on my S8 over Wi-Fi, works on 4G. Works on list of cameras but select individual it doesn't work anymore
New update corrected the video problem. Very happy with the app now.
Live view now working but can still be temperamental at times.
． Fixed an issue where video streams may not be played properly under HTTPS without importing certification. (If the video streams still can not be played, you may turn on the Force MJPEG streaming option.)
