2 rear wheels and 1 front wheel give your paper plane more style and make for easier takeoff and landing. They also make it possible to launch off of a surface rather than hand-launching.

We partnered with the best RC hobby vloggers on the planet – FliteTest! They have put together their incredibly creative minds to develop a foam jet inspired by the F22 for the 4.0. It is made from a special laser cut foam board they created and make in the USA.

Intuitive control makes it easy to fly. Simply tilt your phone in the direction you want your plane to fly. It’s really that easy.

POWERUP is an incredibly helpful tool when it comes to teaching and learning aeronautics. Students can test multiple designs, analyze their work and improve their planes. Through trial and error, they can understand what makes their plane fly smoother, longer and farther- key lessons in airplane design.

App won't even open. Says there is a bug and it won't work until developer fixes the bug. Huge disappointment for my son who was thrilled when he opened the gift. Update: I have spent a lot of time back and forth with them, sent them a "bug report" as they requested, and it still doesn't work, even after the update on November 6th which was supposedly to fix the problem. Ugh

The app is a good baseline for getting started and flying, minor bugs, and a few minor improvements to be desired. I was surprised at how easy it is to pair to the module. Of the few features that would be nice-to-haves: - Pictorial folding tutorials in addition to external links to video tutorials. - Explanation of fine-tuning parameters - Autopilot adjustments (my aircraft tend to oscillate longitudinally because the autopilot overshoots thrust corrections).

*Was* great. Now, not so much. The whole login and forcing cloud-based *everything* just kills the fun of having what started as 'a fun little toy'. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, GIVE BACK LOCAL DATA STORAGE. AND joystick mode. PLEASE??? It's been gone for over a year now. Loses 2 stars for forcing the cloud, 1 for still no joystick, and 1 more for not doing anything about that for over 2 years (would've been a 0 star review if I could've). And the blatant copy-paste replies are very disappointing.
