UPDATE - 2 STARS ADDED from my original review. I initially rated this app as "Very flaky - needs more development", but it seems the issue had more to do with my home Wi-Fi than the app. Since replacing my home's Wi-Fi access points and router this app has worked perfectly. Before the networking equipment upgrade the daily schedule timers were unreliable and I couldn't access anything unless I was home. Now, it all works perfectly. YMMV, but I'm mostly happy now.

A few years ago I installed it and it worked great. the only complaint is (1) after install it was great, winter came and Everytime it just about reach freezing temps it constantly start to freeze also and you get cold while it does it's thing to defrost it. (it's not low coolant, I had someone check it out). couple of years later it still does the same. the only other issue is what ever I tell Google to set the temp to it's always sets it 1 digit up or 1 digit down. The app itself works great.

Is there another app that works with my unit (SharkAire heatpump} Tuya maybe? Anyone? Used this app with my ductless a/c unit. Got a new phone, re-installed, and now it wants an activation code. No other options, no account login, no device adding, just a blue screen with scan or enter manually. I used another reviews advice to hold the icon and choose add new device.. It worked until I logged in and gave it some permissions. Now it closes after a few seconds before I can add the unit.
