I recommend you to install the app, enable the additional codecs such as LDAC because the phone might not automatically recognize the hi definition Bluetooth codec. After that it is better to uninstall the app because the app can cause disruptions in connections, the volume can fluctuate and the sound effects can kick in and off for no reason while the app is installed. After I uninstalled the app the problems went away.

there are many problems with tat3509. sound comes and goes every minute. bought it 5 months ago. don't want to spend time with insurance. probably not gonna buy anything from you again. biggest regret of my life that I spent 50 dollars on an earphone. you can understand my feelings that it made me send feedback even from here. don't use Philips, stop unnecessary anger.

would be better if the settings that turn off gestures and touch control actually turned those off. having to turn them off everytime i pull out my earbuds is just dumb. shopping for someone different at this point. if you just bought a pair of earbuds from Philips, just take them back.
