I don't know why this exists. When setting up a NanoBeam 5AC Gen2, new out of the box, the app somehow changed the default login (ubnt/ubnt) without my input, locking me out of the management interface and forcing me to climb up a ladder and do a factory reset on the device itself. Having accomplished that, I set the device up through a web browser on a laptop and everything worked as expected. Fix your app, Ubiquiti.
This app takes longer than setting a static IP on a laptop and directly connecting it to the device that needs to be configured. It found my device twice, but couldn't do anything with it. Most of the time it doesn't find it at all. The app gives a list of devices to search but the list doesn't do anything, so manually selecting the device does nothing. Not sure what this app is actually for other than wasting time.

I wish this app was advanced as UniFi. Right now I have to bounce back and fourth between both apps because I use a EdgeRouter 4 with a EdgeSwitch 8 and run 2 AP Pros and the APs have to be on the UniFi to control unless I'm missing something. But that being said..... the UniFi experience is leaps and bounds over the the UNMS experience. UNMS is still a great way to customize most controls. The only thing I am not able to do is port management on my switch. All in all, great app.
