So here it is – your brand new Virgin Atlantic mobile App. We’ve heard your feedback, we’ve taken it onboard and we’ve been working on loads of cool stuff meaning you’ve got even more at your fingertips and on the go. You’ve made us feel shiny and new…

You can still do all the basics like find, book and manage your flights. But now there’s more:
•You can pick seats as you’re booking a flight instead of waiting for check-in.
•You can manage your booking - sort any assistance you need, check if the sun’s out in your chosen destination and even treat yourself that upgrade. Go on, you deserve it.
•You can also check in for your flight. Meaning a hassle free breeze through the airport – dreamy!

There’s also lots more for Flying Club members:
•You can now view all of your account activity quickly and easily
•You can update your details and see your handy membership card on your phone
We’re still adding a few finishing touches to make your experience really sparkle. And that’s where you come in - let us know what you think and how we can make the app even better. We got to keep busy somehow!

Ratings and reviews

Rubbish app (rated 1.4 stars), rude and useless reps. The app can't log me in, or locate my booking as a guest. The website can, but it also is very insistent that they require that passengers use the app and not the website. Calling for assistance puts you through to a random department. When you finally get the "correct" person, they tell you they can't assist you, and tell you that you have no legal expectation of obtaining booking updates. Evidently, they have a prepared script for this.

I have tried numerous times to log in to the app and get an error every time. Biometric won't work, using my membership number won't work, using my email won't work. If I use my confirmation code for a specific flight, then I can see the details. But why won't it let me simply log in to see all of my scheduled trips? Wonderful airline. Extremely disappointing app.

Kind of hilarious. I tried to join the flying club online and got an error in two browsers. Went to download the app and after reading the reviews about errors, decided to chance it anyways. After going through all the pages on the app to sign up for the club, I hit submit on the last page. An error has occurred, I'm told. I was literally trying to buy tickets on your airline and your tech is so bad it prevented me from doing so lol. Wellp, moving onto the next option on the list.
