The Hum app lets you:

Use GPS to find any of your Hum-equipped cars when you need to.
Check your car’s health from your smartphone and detect issues before you hit the road.
Connect to a certified mechanic for unbiased advice.
Review your vehicle’s location history and detailed stats by trip, such as average and max speed, mileage, fuel usage, trip time and idle time.
Connect with emergency services and have them dispatch help, even if you don’t respond to an agent.
Request help 24/7 for flat tires, dead batteries, lockouts and tows—and then watch the map to track the service provider’s progress to your location.
Capture data on driving events—acceleration, speed, braking and cornering—to help you understand and modify your behavior, or coach others to become safer drivers.
Stay on top of routine maintenance by reminding you when it’s time for an oil change, tire rotation or other service.

Ratings and reviews

No longer reliable. Not sure what's going on, whether it's the app or the hum device itself. The app constantly shows that it's parked at the starting point while the truck is actually driving or already at a new location. The driving history is missing trips. Frequently the driving history is delayed hours or missing all together. This morning it showed my truck parked on I-135 in a random rural location. Please fix this, it has been going on for weeks. It's doing it now as I type this.

Worked great for the first couple of years, but is horrible now for the last few months. I thought it was the device so I had it replaced. I was charged for the replacement and it works worse than the first. It cannot find my vehicle. It shows it located in the middle of fields or a mile from its actual position. It will show it in a spot from 2 days prior with no update to the actual position. The history is completely inaccurate. This service is an absolute waste now. Don't waste your time.

I have the HumX and it does everything that it's supposed to. Wi-Fi works great, show GPS the vehicle in real time but it does have a problem and I don't know if it's the app or the device but when it comes to number share its supposed to allow you to store three contacts in the app. I am unable to update or remove these contacts. please fix the app or the number share feature. then I will give 5 stars
