Once again, they changed the app to make it harder to use. When adding a workout, it's more difficult to scroll through the list. Then if you are adding a workout that has a distance, the input says miles, but what you input is converted as if you put in km. Can't wait until our company no longer requires using this.
I have a Samsung Fit 2. I downloaded this app so it would track my steps from S Health which is what I was told to do. Well it doesn't sync but half my steps. The app is slow! Needs to be fixed or it is useless! Let me add that customer service is no help and doesn't have the correct answers. If S Health is compatible and Virgin Pulse app is suppose to sync from S Health why am I being told it's because my gear is not compatible. S Health tracks the steps from my gear. I'm told it is tacking steps from my phone which is false as I don't use my phone to track. It's the Virgin Pulse app that doesn't work correctly!
App does not sync info from my new devices like galaxy s7 edge, gear s3. Says only compatible with galaxy s6 and before. The galaxy s8 will be out soon, so app will be behind 2 generations. Get it together.
Forced into it by insurance. Half the time this POS doesn't give me points for what I legitimately logged. Sometimes it works sometimes not even when the data is entered exactly the same. Most of it has nothing to do with making you healthy anyway. Its nothing more than a way to get the participation award of not getting charged extra. Can't wait to get this trash off my phone and go back to living a healthy lifestyle instead of playing the app.
After the most recent update the app is now even harder to use, it's quite the pain in the ass really. You may as well not even input your data, because the app is just going to change it to what it thinks it should be and then won't allow me to delete the entry. Additionally there is no treadmill option in the list. I use the treadmill 6 days a week and when I use it I set the incline to a 15% incline so the calories the app logs for me are extremely low. Might I suggest just going back to a single walk or run option that allows us to input our distance and time then have an additional block that auto fills the average speed based on those two inputs.
This app does not pull in any information from my Galaxy Gear S3, forcing me to carry my phone around or wear a second pedometer, even though S-Health tracks these Gear steps. Also my Gear takes heartbeat readings but those aren't uploaded to Virgin Pulse either. Additionally I have to open the Virgin Pulse app daily or else I don't receive credit for my S-Health steps. Both of these issues are annoying and severely decrease my experience with the app and the company. If they can change the app to support my Watch I'd give a three stars, and with automatic syncing in the vein of FitBit I'd give it a five. Until then the one star rating I give the app now feels too high. Contacted support multiple times with generic responses but Samsung always replies within one day.
Performance enhancements & bug fixes.
