Location? No thanks! Absolute waste of time, never uploads the correct amount of steps. Now they make you use your location, I'm out! Oh! Good luck getting anyone to answer the support email!!!
Non functional Doesn't track steps, even though my phone is listed as supported. Google fit doesn't seem to have this issue, works flawlessly, and can track routes and activity types. Don't waste your time with this. Even though my company uses this as a fitness incentive with small financial rewards, I still don't use it. It's that useless.
What's the point I have been using the app because of my work wellness programs. Steps for points for cash. Since the last update I think, it no longer syncs the info from S Health from my gear s3 so I am losing all the steps that I have accomplished over 7,000 steps on my watch and the app only captures steps from my phone... I suspect this is a money move by Virgin. I think this because it used to work now they have released the Gear S3 they want to cash in on it.
Why does it need to know my location to sync the Bluetooth device? After trying to remove the bluetooth device so that I can turn off the location reporting the app won't work. It says permission require Location permission required for bluetooth syncing and when I hit ok it just pops up the window again and again and again. The app is now 100% unusable.
What are the developers thinking? Was slow to sync, if at all, to Google Fit app. Now it doesn't sync at all - Google Fit is no longer a supported device (?). You can't enter anything manually via this app. Rather useless if you ask me. I only dl'd it because my employer uses virgin pulse for health benefits. Would NOT use this app otherwise.
Not Compatible w/ S7 S Health tracks all my steps every day, but this app only syncs about half the days. It skips whole weeks at a time. That costs me money because my employer offers cask incentives for meeting certain goals.
Bikers rejoice! Connect your Strava account from the Virgin Pulse App. Additional connections can be made under the Devices & Apps section. See you out there!
