Ratings and reviews

I have not had it long, but it has been precise. GOOGLE maps had all of a sudden started taking me in circles and longer routes, and then turns were too late or too early. It was causing the app the need to constantly reroute. There's just too much confusion. My phone is the latest, and the app was updated. I just thought i would just try waze. I found it entertaining. I love the little bits & different selections you can play with. Most of all, it's been accurate

9/20 edit: It's back to working, adjusted rating. 9/16: I've been using this app for many years and have come to rely heavily upon it. But seems with recent update I can not schedule/plan a drive. First I had to find it, because you moved the location. But once I found it I couldn't get it to work. I get the terminal blue circle of death and it never pulls up.

"Waze was great but now it ain't" Once it became just another portal for goddamn advertising, I quit using it. Perhaps it remains a decent app for the most part, but I may never know. Unless Waze offers an upgrade to a Pro version without advertising (for a fair one time fee: not a damn subscription) I'm sticking with Google Maps. It's decent enough; has much improved over the years & works fine.
