This app is completely unusable. I kept getting error C9203 (receiver info error) no matter what I did. Guess what? If you go to the WU counter, they can retrieve exactly the same recipient info and remit the funds, no problem. The difference? It'll cost you 10% more in FX rates + $15 trx fee. Nah, I'll stick to using the banks.

The app works well but Western Union is an incredibly difficult company to work with. You will spend hours on the phone verifying yourself and have to do it all over again with the slightest discrepancy. They ask every personal question they can think of and cancel transactions at the slightest concern. The interrogation is like you have committed a crime. I've been using Remitly for a while now. The Remitly process is instant and seamless. I have never needed to call to fix a problem.

It shouldn't take me 4 times to send money to someone I have an established history of sending money to. If something is blocking me sending money then the page should tell me. The pages load slow, in the app and on the web page as well. I've tried talking to chat, they told me to send money through my bank, couldn't tell me why I was having the problem.
