Ratings and reviews

The app has an persistent glitch while I am scrolling through a long list of stocks. It will suddenly refresh/reload and I will have to start scrolling all the way from the top again. Sometimes I can't even make it to the bottom of my list because it keeps jumping while I scroll. It has been happening for the past few weeks, and on multiple devices (S22 Ultra and S24 Ultra) so it is clearly a problem with the app itself. Please fix this. It makes it unusable.

I've used Yahoo finance for years. Portfolio 2.0 will be the final straw for me. This app was always pretty janky, but at least it was fairly flexible for tracking assets. With the new version you lose that free-form tracking that made this a useful companion to a brokerage app. They have also increased visual clutter and increased the number of clicks to do anything. Since they have now announced that they are sunsetting the old portfolio layout I'll be looking for something else. I'm out.

It's pretty good for gathering stock information although, at times, things like ETF expense ratios are not always accurate. Annoying issues include pop-up Ad Banners in the News applet constantly pushing one back to the 1st article after scrolling and an inablility to be able to read lengthy Yahoo User comments upon expanding before it returns to its default abridged appearance. It's so annoying.
