The RentCafe Resident app is your partner in all things related to your community, especially when you’re on the go. We make it easy to pay rent, request maintenance, or reserve amenities.

RentCafe Resident App features (options vary based on each community):
- Submit one-time payments in three easy steps with various payment methods.
- Set up monthly automatic payments to help you avoid late fees.
- Share rent, utility, and other costs with roommates using monthly automatic payments
- Submit maintenance requests with photos and voice memos and track progress along the way.
- Reserve community amenities such as the clubhouse, meeting rooms, and pool area with just a few taps.
- Track when your packages are delivered or picked up, all within your app.
- Sign and complete your lease renewal directly in the app.
- Interact within your community through the Bulletin Board.

The RentCafe Resident app has been designed for communities that use the RentCafe platform as their Resident Portal. Some features may not be available at your property as options vary based on each community. If you have any questions about specific features, please reach out to your property management company.

Ratings and reviews

The app is convenient for paying rent and placing work orders in for repairs. It has a feature that allows tenants to use the bulletin to post messages but if there are errors in your personal message you can't edit to correct your misspelled wording and there is not no delete option for the messages either it holds all the old messages and I wished they added an editing feature and an option to delete old messages that are like 3 months old.

Can't view or download my documents. App will sign you out regularly WITHOUT WARNING if you're composing a message in a text field (such as a maintenance request), so you'll lose your work if you don't remember to copy. This is an extremely frustrating waste of time and is utterly unacceptable. A sign of incompetent coding.

For Altair at Riverwalk paying rent is quick through the app, but utilities seem to take longer to show up on bill. Also a little more tedious than using the mobile website which already had relatively poor implementation. Also don't care for the banner announcements, just tell me something once in an inbox, don't need to see the same message every time I log in. Only thing that is a stepup is biometric sign in.
