The RentCafe Resident app is your partner in all things related to your community, especially when you’re on the go. We make it easy to pay rent, request maintenance, or reserve amenities.

RentCafe Resident App features (options vary based on each community):
- Submit one-time payments in three easy steps with various payment methods.
- Set up monthly automatic payments to help you avoid late fees.
- Share rent, utility, and other costs with roommates using monthly automatic payments
- Submit maintenance requests with photos and voice memos and track progress along the way.
- Reserve community amenities such as the clubhouse, meeting rooms, and pool area with just a few taps.
- Track when your packages are delivered or picked up, all within your app.
- Sign and complete your lease renewal directly in the app.
- Interact within your community through the Bulletin Board.

The RentCafe Resident app has been designed for communities that use the RentCafe platform as their Resident Portal. Some features may not be available at your property as options vary based on each community. If you have any questions about specific features, please reach out to your property management company.

Ratings and reviews

This app is fine for me sometimes, but it doesn't save login info so I have to do the full log in every time I want to check something. It now doesn't work with a password as well so I have to wait for a text or hope Google login will work which it wasn't for a while. Notifications also don't work well, and they occasionally are missed. For something as important as rent, I'd expect an app to be rock solid in reliability and for it to be more convenient than just paying my landlord directly.

It’s good for what it does, but it logs me out every time I switch apps even if it’s only for a second. I understand having to log back in for security, but I recently got locked out for too many login attempts. That doesn’t seem fair when the app itself requires me to log in so frequently. Just to be clear i have had remember me on.

Being as though Iam not good at all with this technology stuff, this app was easy to navigate though, the down side is, when they send a code to my email and I switch to go look at it and comeback to put it in I end up having to start all over, it kicks me out, finally I got a message to get a code from my phone, that one was better because I didn't have to change pages to find it, it flashed on my screen, all I had to do was remember it and enter it while still on the same page.
