The number of product notifications is just ridiculous. Since the last update there are at least once a day notifications for ING products popping up. You can't disable those in the app or on Android without losing important notifications from your account.

I cannot log in - it requires German phone number which I don't have anymore and doesn't allow me to access the app. Login via computer requires mobile app confirmation. And of course, there is no help desk one can reach. Complete catch 22 situation.

A stored mobile number from another European country can now be used for security processes. Search for "Mobilnummer für Sicherheitsprozesse ändern" on ing.de, log in, enter the number and confirm with an one-time password by letter. The ING app still only supports the entry of a German mobile number.

A decent bank but a terrible app that acts as adware malware app. Daily bombards users with useless marketing ads from ING. and the only way to disable them is by disabling ALL notifications including the important ones like confirmations and transfers. In fact you can disable notifications for transfers but NOT disable the ads. Shame on you ING. a decent bank doesn't SPAM users.
