SHIFTDECK PARENTS is the app for parents of a day-care centre running SHIFTDECK.
IMPORTANT — YOU NEED AN ACCOUNT FROM YOUR CENTRE
This app is not a standalone service. On first launch you enter the address of your centre's SHIFTDECK server, or scan the QR code the centre gave you. Without that parent account the app cannot be used.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Overview: what is happening today
• Noticeboard with announcements and news from the centre
• Chat with the centre — with pictures and voice messages
• My child: attendance and absence, closing days
• Meal plan, sign up or cancel meals, keep track of meal costs
• Answer surveys, read your inbox
• Photo album and your child's portfolio
• The centre's recipe book
• Keep an eye on required parent hours
• Reminder the evening before a closing day
CALM AND RESPECTFUL
Posts can be reported and individual families blocked. Pictures can be sent as one-time images. Two ticks appear only once a message has actually been fetched.
FIVE LANGUAGES
German, English, Turkish, Polish and Romanian. You choose the language inside the app, independently of your phone's language.
NO ADS, NO TRACKING
The app contains no advertising, no analytics and no trackers. Your data stays on your centre's server, not with us.
REQUIREMENTS
Android 8.0 or newer and a parent account on your centre's SHIFTDECK installation.
