With the Openbank mobile banking app, manage your bank accounts in a simple, intuitive and secure way.

Management for your day to day

• Pay with your mobile in all establishments that accept contactless payment.
• Send money instantly with Bizum.
• Login with your fingerprint.
• Turn your cards off and on temporarily by location and usage. For example, choose if you want to use it only in certain countries or turn off its use in ATMs.
• Check all the details of your card, including PIN and CVV.
• Program and carry out national transfers and register new habitual beneficiaries.
• Check your expenses, classified by categories and have greater control of your movements.
• Add your other banks and check all your finances at a glance from your Openbank App with the Financial Aggregator.
• Defer payment of purchases and payments.
• You can contract any of our cards: debit, credit or our Premium and Diamond Packs.
• Modify the limit of your cards.
• Load and unload your prepaid cards.
• You can apply for loans for contingencies or whatever you need.
• Manage your receipts and direct debits 100% digitally.
• Customize your personal avatar and consult or modify your personal data or passwords.

I tried calling, getting an automatic reply that it wasn't possible to connect the call...to the BANK! In the middle of the workday. I emailed instead, and they replied they would make a one-time exception to working with me on the issue via email/calling me themselves. I reminded them that I was emailing them because it had been impossible to call. They responded "sorry about the inconvenience" and that I could call back, now. The lack of professionalism is mind-boggling. Exceedingly poor

The new interface changed the way things are displayed and has a bug where the display order of your accounts are reversed. This means, that if you having savings accounts next to your main account, you now have to click way more and scroll through an entire list before reaching your main account, instead of a single click. I reported this bug through the support channel, but received an unprofessional response (mentioning a solution for the website, not the app) in poorly puncuated writing.

Constant errors while trying to log in using fingerprint - keep trying, after 10-15 times (literally!) it will work. Impossible to see interest rate on your savings account, even though that is why you are saving. Translation errors and ommissions on screen and in documents you have to 'agree' you have read just add to the sense of a hastily slapped together beta app. Please Santander guys, there are LOADS of better apps out there. Open an account with them and learn how it can be done.
