Ratings and reviews

I’m disappointed with the Niyo Global app for not having an option to change my registered phone number. In today's mobile-first world, the ability to update contact details is essential. Without this feature, I'm forced to navigate a slow and inconvenient customer support process, which is frustrating and time-consuming. This oversight impacts both account security and user experience. Until this is fixed, I find it hard to recommend Niyo Global despite its other useful features.

Account creation and card delivery was smooth. However while on trip, the app stopped working. I could not increase card limit and I had to use other cards for most of my trip. The support team was not very helpful. It took about 4-5 days for the app to start working after reporting the issues. Many Play Store reviews at that time also complained about servers being down. Overall, very helpful card, if the app works. Just make sure you have backup alternatives.

This is my second review and one after a considerable amount of use Things I liked: 1. Easy first-time onboarding. 2. The app is clean and shows all the details of your account, and you control almost everything from your app. 3. Transparency to the customer and good customer support. Things I didn't like: 1. Can't use the debit card for international transactions. 2. The regulation changes happened on a quite significant level, like the way to increase the credit limit. This can have an impact.
