About this app

With the IO app, you can interact easily and securely with various Italian public administrations, both local and national. You can access all their services, receive communications, and manage payments, all in one app.

Specifically, with IO, you can:

- add your personal documents to the app's Wallet to have them digitally accessible on your device;
- receive relevant messages and communications from public bodies, including those with legal value;
- remember and manage your public administration deadlines;
- pay any pagoPA notice by scanning the QR code or from a message received in the app;
- download your pagoPA receipts, even if you didn't pay through the app.

To get started with IO, log in to the app with your SPID credentials or, alternatively, with your Electronic Identity Card (CIE) or the CieID app. After your first login, you can log in even faster by entering a PIN of your choice or using biometric recognition (fingerprint or face recognition), maintaining secure authentication.

IO is an app that evolves daily, also thanks to your feedback: if you notice something that doesn't work as expected or that you think could be improved, you can report it using dedicated features in the app.

I like it because it's very easy to use , in terms of payments it brings out the details you need and does not require going through the process of filling anything and it delivers fast

State sponsored app, overly complicated like Italian bureaucracy in general. Barely meets the goal of keeping documents, notifications and payments under check and, most importantly, paperless. some notifications arrive late, some others right on time, so it's also a raffle: you never know if it's going to work.

How can you hope in wide adoption if you ask for a passcode after the thumbprint authentication? This was authored by a crazy maniac. I aborted the login process because I don't want to put obvious numbers.
