About this app

Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2.x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices.

Some highlights of the app:
* Stores all your passwords in a securely encrypted vault
* compatible with KeePass (v1 and v2), KeePassXC, MiniKeePass and many other KeePass ports
* QuickUnlock: Unlock your database once with your full password, re-open it by typing just a few characters - or your fingerprint
* Synchronize your vault using the cloud or your own server (Dropbox, Google Drive, SFTP, WebDAV and many more). You can use "Keepass2Android Offline" if you don't need this feature.
* AutoFill service and integrated soft-keyboard to safely and easily pass the passwords to websites and apps
* Many advanced features, e.g. support for AES/ChaCha20/TwoFish encryption, several TOTP variants, unlock with Yubikey, entry templates, child databases for sharing passwords and more
* Free and Open-Source

When it works, it's great. But it has annoying issues too frequently for me to consider switching. Files don't always sync with network files, resulting in duplicates. Synchronizing function last I tried did not work, resulting in missing entries on the device that were saved on PC. It frequently forces me to choose the database again after failing to log in. All because grabbing files from cloud backups just don't work smoothly or at all. I've had these issues with Dropbox and Onedrive.

Fixed -- I really like this app, especially the password generator. I do have a problem. Recently when I go to log into another app, I copy the username and paste it in the other app. Then when I return to KeePass2, it is locked, forcing me to log in again. It didn't use to exhibit that behavior. It is very annoying to have to log into Keepass2 twice. Perhaps there is some setting I inadvertently turned on, but I can't find it. If KeePass didn't have this issue, I would give it 5 stars. -- Tom

Nice, clean interface to a KeePass2 database with auto-fill support for both websites and apps. You can store the database locally, or sync it to a network server - and there are a lot of supported options ranging from your own SSH or WebDav server through NextCloud and up to the major cloud services like DropBox, OneDrive etc. Syncing is almost seamless, too. I'll often add a password on my desktop (where I use KeePassXC), then open up my phone and it's synced already. Or vice versa.
