About this app

Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2.x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices.

Some highlights of the app:
* Stores all your passwords in a securely encrypted vault

I've been using this app for several years and it always works great and does everything I need it to. When you open it from dropbox, it automatically saves changes back to dropbox and gives a toast notification. I used to have an issue with dropbox making lots of "conflicted copies" which I would have to sync within the desktop application, but I found out this is greatly reduced by simply not using the "Quick Unlock" feature, which has the effect of closing the database instead of locking it.

I've used this and it's offline version for many years, and it's the best I've found. It has all the important features I need. The update is good to see now that I'm using Android 14. It installed over the previous version with no trouble, and maintained my biometric login. Thank you for all the great work on an indispensable app!

What I love: I have full control of my data file, it's free/open source, works with Google Drive on my Pixel devices and Chromebook. The data file is compatible with the Linux version. What I don't like: local cache doesn't get updated when the remote file is updated. You can end up with multiple versions of your data file and some data could get lost if you use this on multiple devices like I do. I have to delete the local cache and set it all up again and repeat on all my devices.
