About this app

Keepass2Android is an open source password manager application for Android. It is compatible with the popular KeePass 2.x Password Safe for Windows and aims at simple synchronization between devices.

Some highlights of the app:
* Stores all your passwords in a securely encrypted vault
* compatible with KeePass (v1 and v2), KeePassXC, MiniKeePass and many other KeePass ports
* QuickUnlock: Unlock your database once with your full password, re-open it by typing just a few characters - or your fingerprint
* Synchronize your vault using the cloud or your own server (Dropbox, Google Drive, SFTP, WebDAV and many more). You can use "Keepass2Android Offline" if you don't need this feature.
* AutoFill service and integrated soft-keyboard to safely and easily pass the passwords to websites and apps
* Many advanced features, e.g. support for AES/ChaCha20/TwoFish encryption, several TOTP variants, unlock with Yubikey, entry templates, child databases for sharing passwords and more
* Free and Open-Source

So it looks like there is a "history function" added into recent builds, but it looks like it only stays with the device (internal DB, not the data file) and not into a "backup folder". This means if you only use 1 device, it works fine, but if you have multiples, they don't sync across. Great start and look forward to further updates (love that it works with the inputstick USB).

KeePass 2 for Android, is one of my most used apps, and a favorite for many reasons. I almost always donate when the yearly prompt pops up. I expect, hopefully, to use this app for many more decades. The importance of a good password manager can't be stressed enough, especially these days. I especially love the built-in keyboard, for safety and easy credentials loading.

I have been using this app for years it works great! I do not have the problems some have mentioned regarding gdrive. I have my database saved on gdrive as a top level file. Not in a folder. Syncs w/ laptop, desktop, and mobile. I set the database file to be available offline on my mobile. Then I open the saved file on my mobile w/ this app. Hopefully that helps! You just have to play around a bit. Don't give this app a negative review if gdrive is causing your problem!
