TLDR: poor quality IT and sluggish customer support, avoid if you need reliability. When it's working, it's a no-frills broker account with basic features which are probably enough for many people. The problem is, their software is buggy and customer support is very slow and unresponsive. I've had many issues, however the last one blocked access to my own money for 3 months! Developers still aren't able to fix it as of now. Search Wikipedia for Degiro if you think I'm the only one having issues.

This could be an ok trading platform, except for: 1) inability to place orders out of their so-called fair market price. Any trader will agree this principle in an oxymoron as no app should be trying to impose a fair price; 2) unreliable/delayed quotes, i.e. quite often there is a complete mismatch between their own chart, and the quotes across the platform, which in turn are also different from reliable sources such as CBOE. Even when trading with the bid/ask range, some orders do not go through; 3) To add insult to the injury, their technical support is non-responsive, which is particularly serious when one is attempting to trade volatile VIX options and need the orders to be placed timely based on reliable market data. I was ready to label them as a scam and start taking legal actions, until I was able to get them on the phone and ascertain there is some degree of legitimacy on their operation. Nevertheless, I have already started actively looking for other platforms.

I don't know where to start. As I am fed up with writing to customer support, I am going to share a portion of my frustration here so it helps others decide whether to work with this broker or not. 1- Only a week ago they were able to introduce the "English" user interface! There are still dozens of untranslated sub menus, and considerable amount of missing translation portions in paragraphs/texts. 2- You can't set a buy/limit order of your choice. It limits your buy/sell order prices within a narrow min max value based on the last trade of the stock. Of course it lags in updating prices so it isn't aware the stock is actually trading way below or above what the system thinks it is trading, doesn't take EH into consideration, or doesn't take into consideration that the clients are long term traders who DON'T WANT to log in and change their order every other minute of every single day!! It bugs and tells you that you can't enter a buy/sell order for that price even though when the amount you want to buy/sell at is within the limits it pops up as a warning/error message! 3- About 5 minutes before and after market open (09:27-09:32), it is almost impossible to edit (delete, enter, change) your buy/sell limit orders. It just turns into a blank page with "loading circle" in the middle and then never functions. I have missed entries and took losses because of not being able to properly adjust my orders before the market opens! 4- Customer service is lagging big time, but the time you get any answers, your issue has either resolved itself or cost you good amount of money (either a loss, or a miss of profit). Just last week I suspected an usual activity on my account (buy order) and sent an e-mail to their customer support, but got a very lousy response saying that the issue should have fixed itself already. They don't read into your inquiries, but just send stereotype, out of the book responses. I have to mention though, I called one time the hotline in UK (because I wasn't able to get any response from their e-mail account for days!), and if I'm not mistaken, I talked to a Frederico or Federico from UK or Ireland. He was nice and helpful. There are so many other issues I'm having with this broker but I can't fit everything here due to word count! FYI, I am not even mentioning the lack of trading options and equities! I am so frustrated with this broker, I will change it as soon as I can open another account with a new broker. (P.S. As I am writing this text, I am on another window watching a missed opportunity (profit) because the system doesn't let me buy that stock due to their system lag and error!! For the love of God!!)
