App used to be 4/5 (quite good except for overload of ads and "tips"). Current 1/5 signals two major problems. First, setting delivery preference doesn't allow me to select the place close by (while PostNL TV ads brag I can do so). Second, setting a nearby Pakketautomaat frequently diverts stuff to a place 2km away (I want to pick my own, close by backup location).

I sent an important letter to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs by registered mail because I needed confirmation of receipt/delivery. The app keeps telling me that the letter is still to be delivered. But since this took a long time I questioned the ministry if they had received it. They told me that they received the letter 2 days ago. However the app still gives no confirmation of delivery.

Overflood of tips. The main screen is more filled tips and explainations about what I can do and how to do than the actual info about the deliveries. If I've read something once I don't need to see it over and over again. Tips banners used to be smaller, now take up most of the screen. I get it already that's postNL is co2 conscious and as green as Kermit. Also login buttons do nothing. Delivery options has improved greatly tough. I can chose my favorite pickup point now. Hats off to that.
