About this app

Register with BT Pay, launched by Banca Transilvania, by completing the following information: phone number, date of birth, and details of the BT cards you wish to be included in the application in digital format to pay for contactless contact.
To use the application, you need to set up a security method on your phone (pin, pattern, fingerprint, etc.)

What can you do with BT Pay? Many:

• You pay your purchases with your phone by choosing any of the BT cards listed in the application. It's simple, fast and free of charge;
• Send money to who you want, or you can ask to send money when you need it. All you need to know about the transfer is the phone number of the person to whom / from which the money transfer is;
• You can transfer money between your BT card accounts;

Ratings and reviews

The app opens with an error asking to restart the application. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no luck. I have reached out to customer support and it seems that after the last update, some of my phone's settings are blocking the app's right function. Date&Time to be on Automatic and use 24-hour format!

The app is constantly blocking after fingerprint logging, freezing with now way to use it. If you manage to use it remain hooked and you are not able to unlock your phone if you don't loghin again in the app to close it.

Unresolved issues: - default payment app pop-up keeps showing after selecting No - the app monitors the entire device (which is a security breach) and detects legit remote access apps as treats asking to be uninstalled before using bt pay - this is a lazy way of ensuring app security - marketing notifications can not be switched off - phone number validation can not be done manually - support doesn't acknowledge the issues and valid use cases, but they always have an excuse not to solve them
