Identity - Star Taxi app needs some personal data to be able to identify the user. Personal data refers to: name, e-mail address, phone number, profile photo, etc.

Location / Wi-Fi connection information - Star Taxi app accesses location data, which is needed to: locate the taxi drivers in the area; setting the address where the taxi order is placed; the actual placement of the taxi order etc.

Phone – It is necessary to identify the user of the Star Taxi app and also to identify the requests placed by the user. We also need the phone number to contact you in unexpected situations.

Camera/Photos/Media/Files – The Star Taxi app user account can be personalized with a photo of your choice. To be able to do this, the app needs access to the device's camera or the photo gallery.

Ratings and reviews

While it's useful, I have big frustrations with the destination feature. I keep getting other random locations when searching for my destination. For example I live in Cluj and when I input a street name, it shows me unrelated streets from other cities from all across the country. Please fix this!

Setting the destination / Home / Favourite Places is very difficult because you cannot use the pin on the map. Instead, you have to enter an exact address. In my case, the address does not come up in the search results, therefore I cannot go exactly where I want to. Moreover, I do not understand why do I have to be charged 1 RON to add my debit card to the account. Overall, the application seems promising, but it is way behind the competition.

Awful, so glitchy that you can't even attempt at making a booking. If you don't enable it to use your location at all times and instead only allow it to use your precise location only when it's in use, it won't work. The location bar which shows your location freezes your screen by trying to locate you repeatedly, so it shuts down. Don't use this app.
