Calmloop is a quiet everyday companion — for your mood, your screen time, and the small patterns between. Not a medical device, not a therapy replacement. An app that gently checks in now and then. Nothing more.
No streaks. No points. No ads. No manipulation.
The app that doesn't hold on to you.
Other apps maximize their screen time. Calmloop gets quieter over time — not louder. It's built that way, structurally, in the code.
What Calmloop does:
• Mood — a small check-in, when you feel like it. One to five on a quiet scale, a word, a sentence. Over time your own picture emerges.
• Phone time — log how long you were on your phone today, or let it measure automatically. See your week, month, last three months as a quiet shape. No target, no "too much".
• Patterns — after a few days, gentle connections appear. "After social media you feel a bit more muted on average." "On lighter days you felt better." No judgment, just observation.
• Plans for hard moments — write a sentence to yourself, in advance, for when you can't pull away later. Your calmer self talking to your tense self.
• Self-experiments — small 7, 14, or 30-day studies you run on yourself. "Phone away after 9pm", "Instagram only after noon", your own rules. Calmloop watches quietly and shows you at the end what moved. You are the researcher of your own life.
• Weekly reflection — Sunday evening, one single sentence about your week. Nothing more.
What Calmloop deliberately does not do:
• No streaks, no points, no levels, no badges.
• No leaderboards, no social features, no sharing.
• No aggressive push notifications, no "we miss you" emails.
• No productivity promises. No "optimize yourself", no "get X hours back".
• No app blockers, no forced shutdown. You decide, the app only offers.
Private — technically, not just in marketing:
• All data lives only in an on-device SQLite database.
• No tracking, no analytics, no crash reporter, no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Sentry.
• No ads. Ever.
• No account, no email, no sign-up.
• No Calmloop server. Optional sync runs through your own iCloud or Google Drive. We see nothing — because we have no servers.
