the app works for basic functions only, volume up and down and basic navigation, the app is unable to access the tv menu or settings despite claiming to be able to. the app will bombard you with ads unless you subscribe. I would say avoid this app, but if you lost your remote, this is the best of the worst, all the other remote apps are even more predatory, only use this app if you have no other choice.

It worked well as a momentary backup remote for a fire TV. However, you pretty much can't do anything without the paid version. And to be honest, the pricing is utterly insane for such a simplistic app. It was five dollars a week. You'd be better off just buying a physical universal remote and not relying on an app at all. Asking so such for something so basic makes no sense to me. Two stars for an easy connection experience.

this is the biggest waste of time and money. I was looking to see if an app was available and didn't realize that browsing became an accidental purchase. Upon realization, I canceled immediately, but they kept the money they took out of my account so I asked to rejoin for the month I paid for and was also turned down and would have to pay full price if I wanted the service for the month I had already been charged for. The stupid app didn't work worth anything for the three day free trial.
