OnTaxi is a Ukrainian service for taxi orders and parcel delivery available in over 100 cities across Ukraine. In the app, you can place an online order, see the taxi fare before confirming, and track your ride on the map.

Taxis and courier deliveries are available in more than 100 cities in Ukraine. Among them are Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Cherkasy, Kropyvnytskyi, Nikopol, Kramatorsk, Dnipro, and Pavlohrad. UA coverage is broad, so choose an address in your city to check availability.

How to order a taxi:

In the OnTaxi app, set your route points, choose a car class, payment method, and desired options. When the details look right, confirm the cab order and go.

Ratings and reviews

The app works fine; however out of the dozen or so times I used it, the app once charged me for a trip that didn't happen (no cars were available), and once double-charged me for a trip. The customer service was worthless (the lady told me she couldn't help me and hung up). If you do decide to use this service (trips are oftentimes cheaper than Uber), use cash instead of a card. Peace!

This app is impossible to verify because they don’t give you any choice whatsoever. I’ve never seen a more insane verification process! They say they’re sending you a message, maybe via Viber, maybe via Telegram, maybe as an SMS. And you have absolutely no idea where it’s being sent. Hahaha. And what if I don’t even have Viber on that number?! So here I am, sitting and waiting, and nothing ever arrives. No wonder nobody has ever heard of this app.

Used the app for about a year. The service is excellent, and though not the cheapest one - the cashback feature more than compensates for this. However they silently stopped supporting my mobile carrier, so couldn't connect my account on a new phone - verification SMS does not arrive, and no reply from the support for more than a week. As it is pretty much useless without registration - ultimately had to switch to another taxi service. Thanks for the ride, but minus two stars for this.
